The Great Martis
The Great Martis@great_martis·
Ladies and gentlemens, dignitaries, royals, celestial beings… The data centre trade powering this AI frenzy is reaching a boiling point. Look at DTCR the Global X Data Center & Digital Infrastructure ETF on the daily chart. We’re staring at record breaking volume on a session that gapped higher, formed a textbook Evening Star reversal pattern right at the upper trendline, and then immediately sold off hard. That pink oval marks the heaviest volume on record. What about the delta volume shown below ? That’s the exit liquidity The core data centre REITs inside DTCR (Equinix, Digital Realty, etc.) are trading at hyper valuations many sporting P/Es north of 50–80x while the sector is in the middle of an unprecedented capital expenditure binge. Hyperscalers and AI players are guiding toward $630–700 BILLION in combined 2026 capex. That’s nearly double the already-record 2025 spend. This is starting to rhyme with the late stage Dotcom boom explosive infrastructure spending, sky-high multiples, and the belief that “this time it’s different” because of a transformative new technology. History doesn’t repeat, but it often rhymes. Risk management over euphoria. Yours truly, The Great martis ✨ God bless and godspeed.

EFICO Coffee Sourcing Strategy 2025 and Global Market Trends The coffee market has always been volatile, but in recent years fluctuations have intensified. While prices were historically shaped by harvest expectations, weather patterns, and supply demand dynamics, financial market mechanisms, including speculative trading and algorithm-driven strategies are increasingly amplifying price swings, sometimes exceeding underlying supply fundamentals. Large numbers of shrimp and small crustaceans have washed up on beaches in Mirbat and parts of Oman’s Dhofar coast. Local reports link it to natural ocean conditions like temperature shifts, low oxygen, and strong currents rather than pollution. Investigations are ongoing.

Michael Burry will no longer post on X after leaving an ominous message "Lights Out" 🚨 The last time he did this was right before the massive 2022 stock market dump 👻😱

@Emilymakescoff1 @krassenstein So only the base 10% tariffs have been removed for Brazil coffee? And the 40% reciprocal tariffs remains? Please could you share the article/post about this? Thanks

BREAKING: President Trump suspends tariffs on a range of foods including beef, bananas and coffee, amid complaints of high grocery prices. Because tariffs cause inflation. Democrats told you this 9 months ago.

Another blood bath today in Robusta compared to Arabica! Both markets are so disconnected today

Is there a suitable explanation for why the arabica market has been relatively stable compared to the robusta market? Complete blood bath this week for RC @CoffeeNinjaRyan @MEM64530898 @ThomasRaad1 and whoever else might be able to shine some light on this 🙏🏼🙏🏼

@vicentezotti @thiagotrovo Yes asking about the futures prices! Bearish because there will be fresh selling pressure from Brazil? And as per your comment earlier, you expect the tariff exemption starting 30/9?

@thiagotrovo Essa é nossa tese. Até 30/09 teríamos o café nessa lista de exceção.

Coffee is clearly waiting for something before it takes a new direction. Tariffs are heavy on it,weather never off the table. #coffee #kc The longer it takes stronger it moves

@jihlenburg Joern, thank for Sharon your analysis. We have broken 4.36 multiple times on an intra-day Basis…. Do I assume your analysis only considers the level at which the market closes?

☕️ #RC #robusta ~4,426 (−0.9%) • 📊 Held 4.40k shelf; value 4.40–4.45k • 🔁 Sep→Nov roll flows; liquidity light • 🌍 No fresh macro; LT tightness intact 🛡️ 4.40k/4.36k | 🎯 4.46–4.48k → 4.90–5.00k Explanation Intraday we dipped, then rebuilt around the high-volume node at 4.40–4.45k. The pullback looks like rotation plus roll-related supply rather than new fundamentals. Bigger picture stays supportive: Vietnam remains tight until the new crop later in Q4, Indonesia’s seasonal beans help but do not replace Vietnam, and ICE Europe robusta certified stocks are lean. That keeps a firm floor while we chop inside 4.36–4.48k. A sustained hold above 4.48k re-opens 4.90–5.00k; lose 4.36k and 4.30k comes into view.

@LionAirID My flight from Jakarta to Lampung has been delayed by more than 4 hours! This is horrible and the worst experience I have ever faced. Your staff at gate A4 in terminal 1A is clueless and doesn’t give me proper answers. Is this flight even going to take off today?
