The charter designates Trump chairman for life, independent of his US presidency. He pledged $10 billion at the first meeting. Congress had authorized zero dollars and was not consulted. Foreign governments received the charter before lawmakers did. He skipped Senate ratification entirely. Every major international organization the US has ever joined - UN, NATO, World Bank, IMF - went through Congress. This one didn’t. At the inaugural meeting he said: “Once this board is completely formed, we can do pretty much whatever we want to do.” Chairman for life. No Senate vote. No appropriation. Continues past 2029. Fairchild’s point is that grifting is a hustle. This is a different category.

MEHMET VEFA DAG -Cape Town Mayor Candidate
Jewish-American actress Hannah Einbinder delivered an emotional speech condemning Israel’s actions in Gaza Strip, saying she feels “horrified” and “ashamed” by the scale of civilian suffering. Speaking as both a Jewish person and an American, she criticised the use of U.S. tax dollars to fund the war and said Israel’s military actions do not represent Jewish values or safety. Einbinder also warned that linking Israeli government policies with Jewish identity could put Jewish communities worldwide at greater risk. Her remarks have sparked widespread debate online about accountability, free speech, and responsibility amid the ongoing conflict. #HannahEinbinder #Gaza #Israel #MiddleEastConflict #FreeSpeech WorldNews USPolitics

Remember back during the Desert Storm they had the Iraqi war on TV 24/7 when the US was fighting a much weaker military? Trump is asking satellite companies to stop publishing the photos of war in Iran. Is that what you do when you're "winning" the war?

Every major market crash since 1987 was preceded by one signal. Oil's 12 month rate of change hitting 100%. We're at 91% right now. The historical record: 💥 1987 Crash — Oil ROC >100% 💥 1990 Crash — Oil ROC >100% 💥 Dot Com Bust — Oil ROC >100% 💥 2008 Financial Crisis — Oil ROC >100% 💥 2022 Bear Market — Oil ROC >100% Every Single Time. And today? Hormuz closed. We're 9 % points away from the threshold that has never failed to precede a market crash. The S&P is already down 5.4%. When oil moves this fast economies break. Will this time be different? History says no. Source: Ted @TedPillows, @marketmike

Some months ago I warned that Elon Musk is racist and doesn’t like black people. He despises them. My theory is he hates us because his wealth will always be tied to proceeds of apartheid in South Africa and he feels ashamed. He grew up in a system that oppressed black people and now that black people are free, he hates it. He would love a world where black people remain poor and oppressed. That’s why he is coming up with all these anti black people policies on Twitter. He doesn’t want them to comment on American politics yet its affecting them. He is always complaining about South Africa and shaming it instead of being grateful and giving back to a country that made him. Such a disgrace! By the way this pic is Elon, his mum and an oppressed black maid in 1988 in apartheid South Africa. Just the way Elon loves it!

🚨 The aluminum market is moving beyond mere nervousness into the territory of a genuine catastrophe. It was recently revealed that due to Iranian strikes, the flagship EGA Al Taweelah plant in Abu Dhabi has been knocked offline for 12 months. This means 1.6 million tons of metal are automatically removed from the global market. Furthermore, Bahrain's Alba has already slashed 19% of its capacity, while Qatar's Qatalum is holding at only 60% load. What does this mean for the global market? Up to 3.5 million tons of aluminum are currently at risk. If the disruptions in the Strait of Hormuz persist, we could be looking at a deficit of 6.8 million tons of production—a massive hole in global supply. The critical factor here is not just the strikes on the plants themselves, but the availability of the raw material: alumina. Up to 60% of alumina supplies to Middle Eastern smelters pass through the Strait of Hormuz. Simply put, even those facilities that survived physically may face a basic reality: they have nothing to smelt. Replacing these supply volumes through other countries is unlikely to happen quickly. China has nearly hit its production ceiling of 45 million tons, while India and Indonesia are scaling up far too slowly to fill the gap. For Russia, this situation undeniably opens a window of opportunity. Prices on the London Metal Exchange (LME) have already surged by 6%. The higher the global deficit, the stronger the price support for Russian exports. However, the rise in prices should be viewed with cautious optimism. Let’s look at Rusal as an example. The company currently purchases more than a third of its alumina from external markets. Over the past two years, the share of alumina in the total cost of aluminum production has risen from 35% to 50%. Its price has more than doubled since the beginning of 2024, exceeding $700 per ton. Even accounting for the fact that Rusal produces two-thirds of its own alumina, the imported one-third will continue to pressure the average raw material cost for every ton of aluminum produced. Consequently, while export revenue will certainly increase, overall profit margins are not guaranteed. Nevertheless, this remains a positive development for the Russian budget in terms of additional tax revenues. 📈💰
