Only 3 things they know how to do very well: Loot the treasury, rig elections to perpetuate themselves in power and squelch all criticism. Develop the country? Fat chance! Ask them to develop the country and they would develop their pockets!

What we need now in Afrika is technology, science, Afrocentric schools not churches or mosques not pastors or imams. We've enough of that. Even the politicians are religious too. We need to excuse ourselves from religious activities. prayers & fasting are not working either.

Many blacks are obstacles to their own development. Good Attitudes, moral values, integrity, solidarity and empathy for each other is key.

It can be internal violence where one is in violence with self.Say a violence of your africanacity and the westernised you.I believe it's necessary if we are to decolonize.Even economic empowerment needs it

They can’t make the SMALLER regional ones (EAC, ECOWAS, SADC) work but they can make the much LARGER one – ACFTA – work. Coconut logic!

@ayittey ECOWAS, and SADC had a head start but sadly the RECs especially the EAC has been filled with so much politics for any meaningful strides in regional integration. Considering the current strained relations, I wonder how the ACFTA will work.
