My experience with @joinditto and @BeshakIN was terrible. The companies people praise the most gave me the worst experience. Even @policybazaar is far better atleast they reply to calls and msg. Ditto only respond until the payment is done, after that they just ignore customers.

@Udit_143 @joinditto @BeshakIN @policybazaar I felt the same way. Deliberately made some mistakes to see how they would respond after the policy was issued. I could clearly see the difference with Ditto. I felt that Policybazaar is far more organized than Ditto.

After-sales support is handled by another support team, which is so slow that your entire day will pass, and you still won’t be able to respond to the insurance team with the information they asked for. @joinditto is Worst

What should you do if your insurer rejects your claim? 1. Talk to your broker first: If you bought the policy through a broker, reach out immediately. A good broker can help decode the rejection, gather documents, and escalate it with the insurer. Sometimes, one strong follow-up can change everything. 2. Re-approach your insurer: Drop an email to the insurer’s grievance redressal cell once you receive the rejection letter. Ask for the reason if it hasn’t been shared. And if they don’t respond to you within 30 days or their response is not satisfactory, go ahead and execute the next steps! 3. Talk to the ombudsman: The insurance ombudsman acts as a mediator between you and your insurer for grievances. There are 17 across the country; you can approach the one in your jurisdiction. But keep in mind- the only complaints entertained here are of the amounts up to ₹50 lakhs. 4. Approach the boss man - IRDAI There are a number of ways to do this. You can raise the complaint with IRDAI through Bima Bharosa, by calling 155255 or 1800 4254 732, or drop an email (complaints@irdai.gov.in). Bima Bharosa forwards the complaint to the insurer and allows IRDAI to monitor the grievance redressal process. 5. Knock on the courts doors: The last resort - drag your insurer to the court or a consumer forum. This can be an expensive affair to pursue. @aman_shettty These posts are all about showing the “good side,” but real problems are never shown. Same with @BeshakIN —everything looks great until you actually buy a policy. Then when issues come up and you try to cancel, you see the reality. Show both sides, not just the wins.

₹7 lakhs. Cashless. 28 minutes. Customer messaged us at 8:12 pm. Cashless request had been sitting with ICICI since 5:45. No update. Hospital refusing to proceed. Customer waiting. We Escalated. Stayed on it. 8:40 pm — approved. Most people think cashless means automatic. It doesn't. The request goes in. And then it sits. Unless someone is chasing it, calling the right desk, refusing to let it get deprioritised. That's the gap we fill. Your insurer won't do this for you. We will.

@BeshakIN Freedom to choose sounds great. but first maybe ensure customers arent stuck for 3 month with 0 clarity. Wrong advice, no communication, no refund..and asking to pay EMI just to decide cancellation. Thts the real custom experience I got. Fix your own system before selling ideals.
