Sunday used to be the best days for us for one of our brands. Meta now wildly overspends past our daily budgets and destroys our net profit. Pisses me off.

so a few months ago i listened to the Andromeda hype and started launching new ads into a consolidated ad set instead of the previous "1 concept = 1 ad set". WHAT A MISTAKE pretty much all the new ads just didn't spend. we recently started relaunching all those ads back to "1 concept = 1 ad set" and whoop dee doo they started spending again. and yes overall we are spending more net net once we went back to the previous "non-andromeda friendly" approach i am truly never listening to you fuckers again

If I had to start a new account from zero: Don't use highest volume to "warm it up." Use bid caps from Day 1. But inflate the bids (not the budget). Start at 1.5-2x target CPA. Collect data. Lower bid toward target as account learns. You get bid cap protection while feeding the algorithm data. Best of both worlds.

Meta conversion campaigns are a mega mess right now. Meta has acknowledged the CPLV is officially a bug. They are working on it. I'm turning ads off where I can.
