@realDonaldTrump @PeteHegseth @SecWar @FBI @FBIDirectorKash Finally, there is a glimpse of hope in Nigeria. Our citizenry have endured horrendous conditions since 2015. Over these years, the country has suffered economic decline, institutional decay, and worsening insecurity. Our global image has taken a serious hit, and many now see Nigeria as a nation in crisis. The most painful damage has been to our democratic guardrails. Institutions have been weakened, the rule of law questioned, national unity strained, and ethnic and religious tensions heightened. The justice system is widely viewed as compromised, especially after the 2023 elections which were marked by irregularities, intimidation, violence, voter suppression, and technical failures. Multiple observer missions, including the EU, reported credibility issues. Many Nigerians believe that the current leadership does not reflect the will of the majority. Parallel results circulated online, court petitions increased, and the INEC Chairman remains a central figure in the public debate. People want genuine accountability, especially for those who were harmed, silenced, or lost during the elections. Regionally, the complaints were clear. In some parts of the North, results were seen as not reflecting local sentiment. In the South, especially in Lagos, there were incidents of vote suppression and ethnic profiling. The economic situation also deteriorated. The naira lost value, fuel subsidies were removed without proper cushioning, inflation rose sharply, and unemployment worsened. Major spending decisions lacked transparency. Borrowing increased. Distrust grew. The National Assembly is viewed by many as enabling the executive rather than checking it. The opposition has grown weaker, and the environment feels close to one-party rule. Religious tension has also grown. For the first time, both President and Vice President are Muslim. While not unconstitutional, many feel it violates the long-standing balance that promotes inclusion and stability under the federal character principle. At the state level, governors continue to receive federal allocations, but many do not invest effectively in security, education, or healthcare. There are allegations of misuse of public funds and currency speculation instead of serving the people. In summary, Nigerians are demanding: accountability, good governance, security, institutional reform, equality, and economic dignity. This is why Trump’s recent position matters. It forces global attention on what is happening here. But it should not stop at words or warnings. Trump and the US administration should go further by directing the FBI and other investigative bodies to look deeply into the networks of corruption, terror financing, illicit financial flows, and political actors who benefit from the killings and instability in Nigeria. International partners should help expose and dismantle the criminal networks and political interests that fuel violence and hinder our progress. A new ray of hope is emerging. It is not from politicians, but from the Nigerian people themselves. Nigerians are becoming more aware, more vocal, and demanding justice and accountability. Nigeria deserves better, and the people are speaking up

|@TonyOElumelu, the Chairman of @UBAGROUP, @Heirs_Holdings, and @TonyElumeluFDN, is a public figure and a well-known content creator himself; he should respect fellow creators (the so-called “banger boys”) rather than use his influence or connections with the @PoliceNG to unlawfully detain anyone. Disputes over content are civil matters, not grounds for arrest and prolonged illegal detention. The @PoliceNGmust therefore immediately release Kingsley Akunemeihe (@Directorkem), Chigozie Success Ihebom, and John Surpruchi Nwanorue (@PROBLEMCHImky)

TO @PeterObi: You did the right thing this morning. Walking out of the ADC took courage. It also took clarity. You named what most Nigerians have been afraid to name — that the same state and its agents that captured Labour Party in 2023 captured the ADC in 2026. Same machine. Different jersey. That is the truth. And you said it out loud. For that, you deserve commendation. Not endorsement — commendation. Because you took a step in the right direction, and steps in the right direction are rare in Nigerian politics. Now keep going. Let APC and ADC split the Caliphate vote between themselves. Let the men who built this cage fight over who gets to sit on the throne. They have the same owners. They will end with the same outcome. You have a different road open to you now. The road of the people. Millions of displaced Nigerians have no voice. Give them one. Make sure they have a vote. Millions are crying for self-determination. Give them a real pathway. Put it on the ballot. Call for a new constitution. Not an amendment. A new one — written by the people, ratified by the people. The 1999 document is a colonial contraption that mentions Sharia 165 times and Christianity zero. It is the scaffolding the Caliphate stands on. Tear it down. Call for a free 2027 election under international supervision. Not INEC. Not the agents who hounded you out of two parties. The world. Do not compromise. The world is watching. Be the champion Nigerians need to end this 66-year nightmare. Sir, you have left the machine. Now join the people and help dismantle it. #EarthShaker

Dangote replacement at NUPRC feels like APC and INEC in one room. Would Umar really go against orders from above? Replace INEC Chairman with APC National Chairman, 2027 will be over by 12 noon.

For now let ADC have its primaries by the time Atiku wins it and transfer to other party is closed, Obi and even his supporters urging him that it must be him or nothing will start begging to be his running mate. Time shall tell.
