As Russia continues its unprovoked war of agression against Ukraine — Canada stands shoulder to shoulder with Ukraine and our @NATO allies. The steps that we have announced over the past few days demonstrate this clearly:
Canada stands with Ukraine - now, and for as long as it takes. At today's meeting of the Ukraine Defense Contact Group, I announced additional military aid for Ukraine. We're expanding Operation UNIFIER in Poland to train more Ukrainian personnel, and donating AIM-9 missiles.

We just announced a new package of military aid for Ukraine, sourced from Colt Canada. We’re donating 21,000 assault rifles, 38 machine guns, and over 2.4 million rounds of ammunition. These arms will support Ukraine’s fight to defend itself, and to protect our shared values.
