@adarrable I would probably see it that you want a better paying job and might be a risk for leaving quite quickly after joining if you don’t get big pay rises quickly. Wouldn’t necessarily have done the same but it may have raised a flag.

@sweet_lilluna @SullyBusiness It’s not really about the paper. It’s supposedly about the time spent honing the knowledge to be able to do it. Sometimes. Sometimes it’s about better negotiation skills, or just plain connections. Or luck, though I think luck is rarely the golden key people think it is.

It broke my brain when I realized most people making 125k/year don't work significantly harder than many people making 25k/year.

@zoombapup If it gets too interesting, it won't sell. Look at the music industry. We've been at that point for a good 8-10 years at least now.

My big takeaway from E3, is that we're basically stuck doing the same old things again and again aren't we? I think it's maybe the funding model. But hardly any of it feels fresh or interesting to me. The "hype" things put me to sleep too.
