i really don’t hate ben rice in general but i looked at his pitching matchup against logan webb and not a fan tonight. webb threw the sinker most often last season and gave up 8 home runs on it and rice had 4 home runs against it. but the second image shows how webb does against left handed batters in night games and how rice does against right handed pitchers in night games and it changes the story a bit. (shoutout @toadsports for the charts this app update is so sick) i just don’t love this game for home runs especially with oracle park being the 5th worst park for home runs last year in general and 5th worst park for home runs last year for left handed batters.
