I have been a student thriving to do what I like. I have been inspired to dive into herpetology, to understand how these creatures live and their ecological roles to sustain ecosystem in Rwanda. I have now got the way to do this through my mentor @mindje

Thrilled to share that using genetic data, we’ve confirmed the presence of Pelomedusa kobe in Akagera National Park! This study provides insights into its morphology and sexual size dimorphism. Full study: doi.org/10.1111/aje.70… Funded by Volkswagen, BCG, and Mapula.

Over the last 6 yrs, I came to understand that a lot is needs to be taken care of. We have dedicated to collect information on the distribution and diversity of #Rwandan #herpetofauna. Besides being useful to ecosystems, these animals are beautiful and amazing @Umulisa_
