The mediocrity and incompetence of the @Our_DA, and any corruption they are involved in, never receive proportional media scrutiny. Minister @SollyMalatsi appointed the CEO of the Film and Publication Board on 12 January 2026. Not even six months later, there is already an advert for the same CEO position. What is worse is that the same Minister misled @ParliamentofRSA and does not respond to questions and correspondence from fellow colleagues. This is the DA in government that we are not supposed to read or hear about. But I also think members of the portfolio committee of communications and digital technologies @CommsZA are not finding the rhythm in this term of Parliament not sure why.

The Orphans of the 90-Day-Jail Law, 1963. Albertina Sisulu was the first woman to be arrested under the General Laws Amendment Act which allowed for 90-Day detention without trial. Many children had to care for themselves because their parents were detained without trial for a long period. Photo Credit: Peter Magubane. Source: Drum Archives/BAHA

The history of hostels being mobilised towards violence against black people in SA is too well documented. Very soon people will be asked to pronounce elbow in isiZulu or isiXhosa. This is going to end tragically. Herman Mashaba and company, like in East London, won’t take responsibility when it does, after they stoked these fires because of electoral opportunism.

I’m still trying to figure out what the point of that Winnie documentary was….or nina niyazi? Mission accomplished, I guess….I somehow admire her even more!✊🏾❤️ This woman was a wartime leader. She was tougher and braver than half our male leadership, so it’s no surprise that she faced the kind of resistance she did. Was she human? Of course! Did she make mistakes? Absolutely! But were her mistakes worse than those of her male counterparts, including the Cachalias of this world? Very doubtful. But because she was a woman, a bold one for that matter, her flaws must be magnified and paraded on global TV. Her wartime decisions are judged and dissected in peacetime, when everyone is suddenly on a high moral horse, so of course she will be a villain among saints! Continue to rest in peace Mama❤️🕊️

@Rantsho_black @MakeletsoTseka But soccer games, especially big ones are almost the same experience! Everywhere in the world. Common thing, never a comfortable experience

@MakeletsoTseka Our football league isn't one of the best in the world. Our rugby is. It's not a race thing. It's just a global standard issue
