Several sex workers in the Netherlands say WhatsApp suddenly suspended their accounts, cutting them off from clients and affecting their income.
According to NL Times, at least five workers had their personal WhatsApp accounts blocked last year without being told exactly why. Because sex work is legal in the Netherlands, many use WhatsApp to book appointments and stay in touch with clients.
Meta said it couldn’t comment on individual cases. Based on the information provided, a spokesperson said they didn’t see any policy violation that would normally justify the account suspensions.

Valve has replaced a customer’s stolen Steam Machine after the device disappeared just hours after it was delivered. The customer said the package was left outside their home while they were at work, and by the time they got back, it was gone. They contacted Steam Support, and Valve agreed to send them a replacement instead of leaving him without the console.
