Fans are questioning why Casemiro's strike against West Ham last night was ruled out for offside, when a very similar goal — scored by Florian Wirtz against Fulham in January— was permitted 👀 Since 2021 in the Premier League, there has been a 5cm tolerance in place, which means that goals that are marginally offside can be given onside through VAR, regardless of the on-field decision. This was the case with Wirtz's goal at the start of the year. After Casemiro's position looked equally close, fans are wondering why the 5cm tolerance wasn't considered. Last night, a statement from the Premier League's VAR Hub summing up why the decision was made was issued, it reads: "VAR checked the referee’s call of goal – and established that Casemiro was in an offside position and recommended that the goal was disallowed."

What are the odds that you’ll be in the same accident and get the same injury at exactly the same spot? On my way from work last year, I wanted to enter korope not realizing that the driver left his fuel tank open, as I was about to enter front seat the cover of the fuel tank tore my skin and I almost cried but I didn’t. Now this morning, EXACTLY the same thing happened and I sustained the same injury in the same spot and open the wound that hasn’t completely healed and I cried so much outside cos I was tired, I should have just stayed home. Dec 12 and second frame this morning 😭😭😭😭
