Pretty shocked by all the pushback that some have had following the #Vikings' decision to trade Jonathan Greenard
- He's played 1 full season out of 6 in the NFL (2024)
- He wanted more money than the Vikings were willing to pay
- Minnesota has an immediate replacement in Dallas Turner
- The Vikings added another Top 100 pick in a loaded 2027 draft

@CDonnick1 I just think it puts things in perspective and confirms Thielen is not a huge deal and if anything , it's a friendly move that the Vikings welcome him back. And for the next debate, AC and Reed aren't Ring of Honors members, Thielen probably shouldn't be either. ;)

Kinda embarrassing that so many Vikings fans have hate for an undrafted Minnesota kid who defied all odds and became a star for them just because at the end of his career they egregiously overpaid back for him and he wanted a small shot at a ring after the team was already cooked

@CDonnick1 It's a business, for sure, and the drops didn't help his playing time or the Vikings get closer to a ring.
It's also certainly a business decision on AT's part to request an out, and one of the costs to that business decision is losing many homestate fans.

c) Teams never honor contracts players sign (and they didn't with Thielen before). It's a business on *both* sides

@PurpyNFL Agreed, JJM's moments of ego and immaturity last year stick out to KOC as something that won't be overcome to become a SB champ. Can say the same for Mayfield's "chip on the shoulder" approach, it's cute and clever for drama but can't hide the pieces that don't come together.
