In 2007 Douglas Alexander said the only way to achieve Scottish independence was for the SNP to win a majority in a Holyrood election and then a majority in an Indyref. This could come back to haunt the new Scottish Secretary. He won't want this retweeted.

Today marks one year since we lost our dear friend and Parliamentary colleague, Christina McKelvie. Such a ray of sunshine and goodness who is so missed by us all.

Anyone recall the banner headlines on BBC Scotland accusing John Swinney of breaking the law after the FOI commissioner decided he knew better than Govt lawyers? Looks like another smear just bit the dust. Will BBC Scotland give this the same profile and coverage?

Another outrageously misleading headline from the BBC. The hospital in question is in England. That crucial fact should be prominent in the headline. By leaving it out the BBC is inviting folk to infer it's a Scottish hospital at the centre of police probes.
