Pleased to confirm that in 2025, in two private hospitals in the UK, 328 trans women had life-saving gender affirming surgery. The actual total will be much higher, as this figure excludes NHS hospitals and the large number who travel to Thailand, Spain, Belgium, or Turkey.

We're not asking for anyone to be banned from parkrun. There are 4 gender categories for people to choose from. We're asking parkrun to change the criteria and encourage everyone to register in the category that is most fair for ALL other parkrunners. #makeparkrunfairforall

Having a period does not equal menstruation. Trans women can have periods. Its a collection of side effects caused by hormonal fluctuations. And like many cìs women, not every trans woman experiences it. Some trans women also purposefully induce these symptoms to alleviate their sex dysphoria by cycling their hormones.

You are thinking from a users perspective. Free at the point of delivery != No gain. Surgery (all) is comparable to US fees.

We tend to feel in the U.K. that a lot of US medicine is led by the money….especially stuff like plastic surgery -and gender surgery.
