@real_moldav @eneamtiu @slang1010 @Dovydas44444 Your people were implanted in Moldova, while Romanians were deported to fucking Siberia. If your people can't assimilate in over 100 years there's definitely something wrong with them. You don't speak for Moldova! Don't call yourself Moldavian, I found it insulting.

@UniqueHiFi @eneamtiu @slang1010 @Dovydas44444 Speaking a creole language with a predominantly Latin structure doesn't mean sharing any "Latin history". We were never part of the Roman Empire, we were never Roman citizens, we certainly don't come from Italy… our people never identified after any Roman derivative.

🇷🇴🇲🇩 Despite many political difficulties ahead, the increasing societal trend is towards accepting the reunification of Romania and Moldova. Will this happen: A) within a decade; B) by 2050; C) Not in this century?

@real_moldav @eneamtiu @slang1010 @Dovydas44444 A creole or pidgin is a simplified language with broken grammar. Romanian/Moldovan has a highly complex Latin grammar (three genders, five cases, and archaic verb conjugations) that a "shepherd's pidgin" could never sustain. A highly confirmed linearly descended Romance language.

@UniqueHiFi @eneamtiu @slang1010 @Dovydas44444 What Latin foundation? 😂That both languages belongs to the Eastern Romance linguistic group? That proves no common ethnic origin whatsoever, still less that Moldavians ever shared that Roman colonial identity from which the modern concept of Romanian was elaborated from.

@UniqueHiFi @eneamtiu @slang1010 @Dovydas44444 Linguistic standards were only developed in the 19th century: so Latin was never a language lmao. For purely political reasons Moldavian has no official standard: doesn't change is a living language distinct from Romanian, and literature predates Romanian Standard itself.

@real_moldav @eneamtiu @slang1010 @Dovydas44444 You're clinging to stagnant Soviet demographics while a new generation of Moldovans is reclaiming their actual identity through citizenship and education. The only "pathetic" thing is using a VPN to bark about a frontier that history, DNA, and the people are finally tearing down.

@UniqueHiFi @eneamtiu @slang1010 @Dovydas44444 So 34% of Moldavians hold Ro passport, very far from 50%. We also have over 200,000 with Russian passports, so what? The 2024 census shows that despite 30 years of unofficial Romanian state ideology Romanian identity remains miserably shattered below 8% -- extremely pathetic.

@real_moldav @eneamtiu @slang1010 @Dovydas44444 You’re trying to use 17th-century regional terminology to justify a 100-year-old kidnapping. It’s not "history," it’s Stockholm Syndrome with a Canary Islands tan. You’re just the last guy left in the Soviet museum trying to sell tickets to a ghost show. Buh-bye!

@UniqueHiFi @eneamtiu @slang1010 @Dovydas44444 I’m trying to spare you the humiliation: do you capitulate right now, or do you want me to bring you pics of the literal passages from Cantemir and Costin in which they both say that in their own day ONLY THE WALLACHIANS called themselves români? Choice is yours 😁

@real_moldav @eneamtiu @slang1010 @Dovydas44444 "Infinitely greater proximity"? You’ve officially left reality. Serbs and Slovaks belong to different Slavic branches (South vs. West) and cannot understand each other without a translator. In contrast, Moldovans and Romanians share the same grammar, vocabulary, and dictionary.

@real_moldav @eneamtiu @slang1010 @Dovydas44444 "Not repressed"? In 1842, Russia banned Romanian in secondary schools, and in 1867, it was forbidden in the Church. By 1897, Bessarabian literacy was a pathetic 15% because the Empire preferred an illiterate, easy-to-manipulate population. Imperial censorship, not modernization.

@real_moldav @eneamtiu @slang1010 @Dovydas44444 2/2 If they moved from the South, then the language would be saturated with Byzantine Greek. Instead, it’s Archaic Latin—the mark of a population that stayed put in the Carpathians. You're just trying to find a new date for an old Imperial land-grab myth.

@real_moldav @eneamtiu @slang1010 @Dovydas44444 The Yamnaya culture wasn’t restricted to the mountains; it spread across the entire Pontic-Caspian steppe, including the Danubian plains of southern Romania and Bulgaria. Thousands of Yamnaya kurgans (burial mounds) have been found in the Romanian regions of Muntenia and Dobruja.

@real_moldav @eneamtiu @slang1010 @Dovydas44444 You just admitted the "Paleo-Balkan/Carpathian substrate" is the foundation. That is the Daco-Roman bedrock. The "Slavic" you're seeing is a 15–20% admixture common to the entire region. It doesn't change the 70% Latin language or the Balkan genetic cluster. 2/3
