The 2023 Nuno Bettencourt solo from Extreme’s track ‘Rise’ is my favourite of the decade so far. In fact the track itself is one of my best released in the 2020’s. Nuno, take your well earned & deserved place in the sun!

It’s been a bit but check out these three new additions! These were individual finds over the last month. All three are live recordings with two of them coming from the Moscow Music Peace Festival on August 12th and 13th 1989. These now make three of these sets from the festival after finding the Cinderella set recording back in May. I remember how big of deal this show was and I couldn’t wait to tune in! Hopefully the other bands sets will eventually show up because I would love to have all seven sets! The Motley Crue recording was from day one on August 12th. Since Dr. Feelgood was still a few weeks away from being released, four of the eight songs in the set were from Girls Girls Girls. Shout At The Devil was represented with two songs while Too Fast For Love and Theater Of Pain each had one. Ozzy Osbourne Flying High, Prince Of Darkness was recorded on the second day August 13th. Ozzy’s set list was ten songs long with three being from Blizzard Of Oz, one from Diary, one from The Ultimate Sin, two from No Rest, and three from Black Sabbath. The Y&T Live At Sherwood Hall was recorded in Salinas California on October 1st 1983 during the tour for Mean Streak. Being able to hear the original lineup live is so cool! 51 years ago today, we were subjected to a SABOTAGE Upper echelon Sabbath with a range of tunes stylistically, and some of the highest notes Ozzy ever hit.
