@LFCMFighter I'll always remember the first time hearing this. Getting a tattoo in Iowa. My last memory of JP had been that Johnny B Goode disaster. After Turbo and that tune, I didn't even listen to Ram it Down. So I was shocked when the tat artist said the band playing was JP.

There are many great #heavymetal albums. There several elite ones. Then there is Painkiller by Judas Priest. Piece of music history right here

@fckfmrocks That run of tunes on SATD from Red Hot, Too young, Knock em Dead and 10 seconds to Love is pretty killer. Looks that Kill is what got me into them, so that's way up there too.

@MrWhiteMAGA She refuses to take the ticket, he dropped it. They both did it. She was belligerent right from him handing the ticket. Cooler heads on both sides could have helped. But her utter lack of respect does nobody any good.

TRAFFIC STOP TURNS INTO A LAWSUIT BATTLE If a driver becomes argumentative during a traffic stop, does the officer have the right to take stronger control of the situation? Is this a case of someone standing up for their rights… or someone hoping a lawsuit will erase a mistake behind the wheel? A traffic stop in Hurst, Texas will turn to the courtroom to decide who was actually in the wrong. What is your opinion??? Newly released dashcam footage shows a woman pulled over for speeding while traveling with her 15-year-old son. According to the driver, she had just come from a doctor’s appointment and a hair appointment when the officer initiated the stop. At first, the interaction appears fairly typical. The officer runs her information and returns to the vehicle with a citation. That’s when things start to change. The conversation becomes tense. Voices rise. What should have been a simple ticket suddenly turns into a confrontation caught on camera. Now the driver, Taneisha Thompson, says the officer crossed the line…and she’s filed a civil lawsuit against the police department. She believes the stop escalated unnecessarily and that the officer’s actions violated her rights. Supporters of the officer say something different. They argue that traffic stops can turn dangerous quickly and officers must maintain control of the situation. From their perspective, issuing a citation and managing the stop is simply part of the job. Now the question isn’t just about a speeding ticket anymore. It’s about accountability… authority… and whether a routine stop became something it shouldn’t have. A court may eventually decide who is right. It’s currently pending… Should a heated interaction during a routine ticket ever justify a lawsuit against a police department?

@stefrose11 @MonstersOfRock Well, after this they released Generation Swine, which was trash, and New Tattoo which came and went without anyone noticing. So for years you weren't missing anything.

@MonstersOfRock It was ok if you thought of it as an independent album. Corabi’s voice was so different it didn’t sound like a Crüe album. Worse, he couldn’t sing previous album material so the Crüe lost me as a fan for years.

On this day in 1994, Mötley Crüe released their self-titled sixth studio album, Mötley Crüe. Where do you rank the 1994 Mötley Crüe album in the band’s catalog? 👇🏼

@MonstersOfRock I think it's a damn good album that sticks out like a sore thumb, cuz it sounds nothing like the rest of their discography. And not just the vocals. It's the overall writing, vibe, etc.

Two albums I love released this day, 52 years ago: Get Your Wings & 32 years ago(really, holy shit): Motley (Corabi) Crue Get Your Winfs is my favorite Aerosmith album. Nothing to skip on their. The definitive version of Train Kept a Rollin in my opinion. MC '94. Probably the best music made by this group, but that one member change definitely made it a different group. This album has little in common with the rest of their discography. @cubs2b23 @LFCMFighter @Voidhanger2 @punt_rd @AV4APod @Vol4Recording @sabbathbloodypc

The record that blew the top off Bob Seger & the band! This is how a live album is supposed to sound for my money, raw energy that’s loaded with the early Seger classics! What’s your favorite track or performance here? A favorite live album?

@NatesHiddenGems This is where I differ the most in Aerosmith rankings. This is my #4 Aero. Do I like it? Of course. Just not nearly as much as Wings or Toys. That said, Saddle, Last Child, Rats, Nobody's Fault are classics. I wish I felt as strongly about it as others, but #4 ain't bad.

Aerosmith Album Ranking from Worst to Best #1: Rocks (1976) It cannot be understated how INSANE it is that this band pushed out Toys In The Attic and Rocks in back to back years! When it comes to Rocks, a lot of people acknowledge that it’s one of the greatest Hard Rock albums ever made. But to me…I still find myself thinking it’s UNDERRATED in the pantheon of greatest albums in Rock history! I’ll gladly stack this album up against ANYTHING in the genre! I’ll just say this. I think every song on here is perfect. There is not a SINGLE bad second on this album. The guitar tone is so gritty and raw, but still keeps the same production style as Toys where it still sounds very accessible. Every hook is catchy. Every riff is memorable. Joe Perry’s crowing achievement is this album, in my opinion. Do I even need to do a track rundown of this thing? It’s so iconic I can just type the song name and you’ll already know. I’ll just give you my top three favorites off this album. Third: Rats In The Cellar because that song sounds like a spiritual sequel to Toys In The Attic and I LOVE fast paced Aerosmith! Two: Nobody’s Fault because that groove is so infectious and that chugging guitar is KILLER! Last but not least, my favorite Aerosmith song of all time…Get The Lead Out! When Aerosmith gets me head banging, that becomes MY JAM right there! Maybe a lot of people saw this coming. But c’mon…it’s Rocks! What else could it have been? If I had picked anything else, I would’ve had to fire myself😂 P.S. This is also my dad’s favorite album of all time. So this gets me brownie points with him😂🤘🏻

Toys is phenomenal. It's my 2, just a whisker behind Get Your Wings. No skips on Toys. Yes, I never need to hear Walk This Way again, but Sweet Emotion is an overplayed tune that I never tire of. Uncle Salty, Adam's Apple and No MoreNM are fantastic deep cuts. You See Me Crying is yet another great Aerosmith ballad. Toys is definitely in my upper echelon classic rock albums.

Aerosmith Album Ranking from Worst to Best #2: Toys In The Attic (1975) I mean, this album pretty much speaks for its self. It’s the one that made the band a household name, even only three albums into their career. I think what makes this album so special, is that even though the band’s Blues Rock roots are still here. The accessibility in the songwriting just takes it to another level. These sleazy rock tunes are being played on the RADIO! That’s a balance that’s rarely reached by anyone. Along with hooks after hooks that stick in your head for IONS. Also this might be Steven Tyler’s best vocal performance on any album. Every note he sings on this is perfect! The title track is my favorite Aerosmith opener EVER! And as I’ve said all over this ranking, they have a lot of great ones😂 I fucking LOVE Uncle Salty! The melody is SO CATCHY. Adam’s Apple is a fantastic song. Walk This Way is…Walk This Way😂 I’m sure many are sick of it at this point, but that riff is undeniably great! Big Ten Inch Record is the one song I’m not crazy about. Sweet Emotion is a song I NEVER get tired of! Those vocal melodies are to DIE FOR! No More No More is my favorite song on the album. I love the bright guitars on it and the hook always gets stuck in my head. Round and Round and You See Me Crying ends the album fantastically! It’s Toys In The Attic, what else is there to say! It’s legendary for a reason. But it’s one of those albums that everyone says is legendary…and it’s ABSOLUTELY justified in every way!

It’s already been a long week! So some classic, galloping and driving energy to power through the day was already required. Favorites Children of the Damned, 22 Acacia Avenue & Hallowed Be Thy Name should do the trick…

This video really upset me. The poor boy clearly didn’t want to fight, but the other kid was determined to be a bully. This is exactly the problem, we’ve become too complacent and just accept this kind of behaviour. Especially among young people, who feel they can’t or won’t speak up or do anything without immediately being labelled racist. We need to FIGHT BACK!

STFU with that shit. My lifelong closest friend of over 40 years is Cape Verdean('black' to you). His family is my extended family. My lifelong list of friends/aquantences are a pretty mixed bag, and I'd never want it to be any other way. This is what I've told my sons: Everyone out there has the potential to be the best, or worst, person you've ever met, regardless of ANY factor. Give em a chance to show who they are. And you think white kids don't do vile shit? Nobody owns that behavior.
