Okay, I was trying to see the field for the Jones Cup next week. They didn't have a link to this years event on the web page, but they had last years results. I saw that subdomain (oceanforest-2025jonescupinvitational) and wondered, can I just change that to 2026? Answer, yes.

Wait... Golf Genius allows clubs/events to utilize subdomains? I don't need a "GGID" or some insane "pages/156165786431656868481861864388797946516464764768198"? If you run an event on Golf Genius, please figure this out. See post below on what I'm talking about.

@colingarner22 @BowTied_Golfer Unknown Golf is perfect for buddies trips, can run all formats and side bets and has full integration with the USGA.

Okay all, need some advice. I run a scratch game at my club and need to reimagine it for 2026. - Typically have 8-12 guys that play. - Attendance was inconsistent this year - Format is two man best ball with front 9 match, back 9 match and skins How can we improve this? Guys have suggested graduated tees based on age, season long points type component, etc. Anyone have anything fun they do on a weekly or season long basis?

@ppargolfer @GolfCrowds1955 The carryovers or require validation can make it very interesting. With a big group you could almost do both gross and net. Or we also have a lot that run hybrid skins where a gross birdie trumps a net birdie. All fun!

@GolfCrowds1955 Yeah can’t really do carry overs with a big group But there are big rewards for making bird on tough holes and I love that

@ppargolfer I also manage the 60 member Men’s League. Change up the games weekly with 2 cash payouts for Net scores. As well 2 Closest to the Pin weekly. We have a $5 50/50 every week along with the one time $25 dues covers the weekly payouts and the Closing Banquet. Great on course fun!

@ppargolfer Don’t make me break out our spread sheet. I hedge and like lots of bets with anyone - including in my group of playing a bigger game. Casual 4 or 5-some I like Banker.
