I was looking into the requirements for acceptance into Canadian medical schools. Many are more difficult than Harvard for no reason. For example, the odds of getting placement with a 3.8/9 GPA are very low. Why? Do we have so many 4.0 applicants that we cant take others? Is a dedicated student with a 3.8 going to fail as a doctor (I've been to Canadian doctors, this is highly unlikely). Or does Canada just have a racket to artificially restrict supply?

Peak Canada! Make it virtually impossible for qualified Canadians to attend Canadian medical schools. Make it equally impossible for Canadians who successfully completed their medical education overseas to return to Canada for post-graduate training (residency). Refuse to accredit foreign doctors already living in Canada so that they can stop driving Uber and actually work in the medical profession. The solution? Introduce a new "fast track" for foreign doctors to come to Canada.

This is what happened after 50/50 child custody laws were passed: divorce rates went down. this is proof that men are not the ones abandoning their children. The law did not prevent women from co-parenting or divorcing their partners…it only established shared parenting. After that, divorce rates decreased. From this perspective women are using the kids to leave their marriages and then go become single parents, while blaming men for abandoning their kids.
