in 1999, Alexander McQueen employed robotic arms to create one of the most iconic performances on the subject of human-art-machines. It was the closing of runaway No. 13, unforgettable. Many have adopted robotics since then, famously 'Can't help myself' by Sun Yuan and Peng Yu, imprinted haunting images in our mind and souls, in 2016. Almost 30 years later, it feels incredibly underwhelming seeing curations leading the 'forefront' of art, hyping derivative performances so conveniently linked to artworks sales. Anything worth killing, you have killed. Might something wild and beautiful raise from the hashes, in future far from now, when you are done and forgotten.
