@dysmagan @Google is like this. They’ll give you a massive ton of feedback and tell you to come back next year. It inspired my recruitment interactions for sure.

Sometimes you shoot your shot and you miss. I didn’t get into embark but this might be one of the best rejection emails I have ever gotten. It suggests programs and even gives you links to book meetings with the path ahead venture team for feedback and advice. Keep shooting!

@ronawang Nothing useless about ground breaking research. There are many professionals that are very militant about a strong work/life balance and can attend to do both as well as travel at the same time. I work and study from home so i would be one of those.

i like how getting a PhD (often useless) & getting a Nobel Prize (absolutely extraordinary) are lumped together
