@lrbobrien The grocery store in Dublin Airport is always open no matter how late I get in. I always get milk for the breakfast.

The reason this street isn't pedestrianised is because of car parks but the street itself is still a car park.

Nice little oil painting I picked up recently. Does anyone know where the Anna Liffey Dairy was located? I can't find any information about it. Mrs. Albany Featherstonhaugh is an excellent name!

#100DaysofVacancy 9th June Property 60 Peter Street. Ahh...Teelans with its once beautiful shop front and its upper storey living potential. A throwback to my youth when messenger boys still delivered on bicycles. Somebodys responsibility!! #DerelictIreland @DerelictDrawda

@JohnCarolan5 @Itsfiachra @anntmcveigh @DerelictDrawda That's incredible carelessness by L co co if true. The roads engineer should have known Teelans is an important 1950s shop front and a protected structure. Vitrolite is an extremely delicate and rare material. Basic stuff like fencing would have saved it.

@thefaaside No never wine or stout with Tayto. A nice cold beer will go nicely with the Tayto crisps.

Great op-ed piece in today's @IrishTimes that deserves to be read and will hopefully lead to action to create safe streets for children to play, just as they did before cars (both moving and parked) took over ...

A piece I wrote with Aaron Copeland of ⁦@APlayfulCity⁩ on the potential for play streets in Ireland to allow children to play & help communities to come together. Time to take back the streets for children mobileapp.irishtimes.com/opinion/2022/0…

@kelehan_kevin3 @judesherry That's already exempt, isn't it? Complying with 2022 building regs in a 1900 building is not allowed. Assuming it's a protected structure, which most of them are.

@judesherry Need to get derelict and unrestored period property back into use. In city centres there should be a removal from the need to switch between commercial and residential use for any structure built pre 1950, only compliance with the building regulations.

19.1% of offices in Cork city are lying empty There's a load more derelict & vacant sites with open planning for offices We urgently need a plan to turn these into homes & cultural/creative spaces as demand for city centre offices reduces further #DerelictIreland #vacantireland
Irish Independent@Independent_ie

The Government will offer workers three free days in any remote-working hub as an incentive to ditch the office for a few days a week buff.ly/38ZLG8c
