04/03/2026- Eng. Prof. Siphila Wanjiku, Dean, Faculty of Engineering - UoN, delivered remarks on behalf of Prof. Margaret Hutchinson who is the Vice-Chancellor of the University of Nairobi. In her adress, she spoke on the importance of collaboration between academia and industry to create SMART engineering solutions. Eng. Jane Mutulili,the President of Association of Consulting Engineers of Kenya also emphasized the role of Consulting Engineers in driving sustainable infrastructure and innovative projects

World Engineering Day - The tree planting session took place at the University of Nairobi. The event was led by Chief Guest Eng. Joseph Mbugua, PS, State Department of Roads, accompanied by Eng. Harrison Keter, 1st Vice President of the Institution of Engineers of Kenya (IEK), Eng. Margaret Ogai, CEO/Registrar of the Engineers Board of Kenya (EBK), and Eng. Prof. Siphila Wanjiku, Dean, Faculty of Engineering, UoN. @ACEK1968 @EngineersBoard @UoN_Engineering The guests planted a tree to symbolize their commitment to a sustainable future.
