How many points do you think he creates for his teammates without even touching the ball just with his gravity alone. You cannot take one single stat and base your entire argument around it. @LegionHoops @BrettSiegelNBA It’s ruining the spirit and significance of awards at the end of the season. Also putting players at higher risk of injury. Last year there was a few players close to the limit nursing injuries who played through and got a far bigger injury

@dale_fromcali @doubledworth This was the bare minimum diagnosis after seeing his knee cap after the fall. We should be glad he didn’t tear his ACL or meniscus in conjunction which would have really complicated his rehab

@doubledworth Not really. An ACL injury leads to gross loss of quad strength but also a loss of stability within the knee joint. Patella tendon rehab’s primary issues will be weakness in knee extension and pain. Which can all be improved over time if rehabbed correctly

@gReenbean_26 Is this not just a dislocated patella? Really common injury - maybe not with pro basketball players. He’s just put his leg in an awkward position with a lot of force through his jump and his patella has slipped out of the trochlear groove probably with a tear to his MPFL.

@CalebJacksonn @gReenbean_26 Rehab can be between 6-12 months. Will most likely be 12 months. Given that it’s the end of the season, he’ll likely just miss all of next season and be ready to start the 2027 season. Similar to Halliburton tearing his Achilles

@gReenbean_26 The tendons at the top and bottom of the knee cap both pulling to keep the knee cap where it usually is. When the bottom one snaps, the top one pulls the knee cap upwards which is why it looks weird

@djromito @BleacherReport @ShamsCharania He had a wrist injury. I would almost guarantee you that he was still doing all his normal work outs and conditioning work just using his off hand. Coming back to normal minutes after only 10 games of resting his wrist isn’t absurd

@robbiegoodwin @TheWarriorsTalk Let’s wait to see what the scan comes back as. If he only tore his patella tendon or dislocated his knee cap it’s most likely going to be a fine recovery If he obliterated every ligament in his knee then yeh it likely would be a very difficult recovery
