Kvaratskhelia, one of the best wingers in Europe and back to back CL winner gets paid £170k a week, but angry birds on twitter think we should have given Fernandes £250k a week.

I’ve seen some Manchester United fans laughing at Kobbie Mainoo for not playing a single minute under Thomas Tuchel again. It makes no sense. The difference? Tuchel is winning without Mainoo because he’s got elite options like Rice, Bellingham, Anderson, Eze, & Rogers. Amorim wasn’t winning, yet he was still picking Ugarte ahead of Mainoo. What’s even funnier is backing a manager with less than 41% win rate who somehow thinks Bruno Fernandes & Mainoo play the same position. If that’s the level of football understanding you’re defending, maybe the problem isn’t Mainoo.

I also noticed that no interviewer has had the guts to ask Thomas Tuchel about Kobbie Mainoo and why he’s not playing and I’m shocked because Ruben Amorim got millions of questions concerning Kobbie Mainoo every match day. The hypocrisy is so obvious that it can’t be hidden. The same media outlets that wrote epistles about how bad Ruben Amorim was because he wasn’t starting a less important player are quiet now because they don’t have the power to question Tuchel. This only takes me back to when Amorim talked about entitlement from the players and everyone around the club. We run a club where academy graduates think they are entitled to minutes instead of working hard to earn those minutes. We run a club where pundits think coaches should take their opinions because they went through the club and are now legends. This is very very bad! Ruben Amorim tried to control that but everyone saw him as the bad person. This culture is a bad one and should not be anywhere around this club. Fans want their faves to start all matches regardless of their form and how good they perform at trainings. Kobbie Mainoo should be grateful that he got the opportunity to be a first team player at a club like Manchester United. He’s not better and more special than the likes of Zidane Iqbal and the rest of them that already left the club.

INEOS wouldn’t have paid £103m to Dortmund for Jude Bellingham but look what the player is doing at the highest level of football. Some fans support INEOS whenever they do this forgetting that overpaying is the price you have to pay, at times, for being a big club. Arsenal signed Declan Rice and Man City also signed Elliot Anderson. We had the opportunity to sign these 3 but when you look at the excuses for not signing them, you’d ask why we’re a big club. Until we start moving like a big club again, I doubt we’d be getting at the top.

Kobbie Mainoo hasn’t played a single minute under Thomas Tuchel at the World Cup and instead of asking what could be the problem, most of his Stans are assuming it’s a personal problem. A coach like Thomas Tuchel can’t just develop a problem with a player. The questions should be if Kobbie Mainoo trains well, does he uphold the right attitude despite not playing? Does he possess the qualities that England midfield needs? Tuchel even substituted Reece James in the midfield instead of Mainoo, that should make you ask genuine questions. Ruben Amorim was even listening to the fuss from biased pundits and fans and was giving him some game time notwithstanding the fact that Kobbie Mainoo can’t thrive in intense games. Aside his passing ability and ability to dribble in tight spaces, Mainoo is almost useless to play in a midfield of a dynamic game. Mainoo lacks the legs, he lacks elite pace, sheer physical dominance, broad passing range and elite pressing too; he doesn’t press. Kobbie Mainoo also lacks high-volume final-third goal contribution, consistent aerial presence, and a high-tempo defensive intensity when tracking runners over long distances. Under Amorim, you all said you were concerned because he wasn’t winning a lot of games but now, Tuchel has won all possible points in the World Cup but most of you are still demanding that Mainoo plays. That shows that Mainoo has always been your problem - you want him to play every games. Well, this is Tuchel not Amorim and I’m waiting for the “FreeKobbieMainoo” Protest.

Look at this picture and tell me you don’t see a problem and I’d tell you. Everyone here is keeping faces like they don’t have a problem except one little Mr carrington Zidane. Ivan Toney, who’s a more important player to England than Kobbie Mainoo, hasn’t started any games at the World Cup too but he’s the one with the heaviest smile in this picture. Rashford is having a bad tournament at the World Cup and hasn’t had good minutes but he’s good. Trevoh Chalobah hasn’t had a single minute since his call up but he seems happy. As a Manchester United fan, if you don’t ask the right questions about why Mainoo is not starting games or even getting any minutes under tuchel, you would keep ending up with mediocre excuses. I can’t support a player with 0 attitude. You his Stans are his major problems because instead of pointing straight fingers to the problem, you’d rather sugarcoat it and make it the coach’s problem. I’m happy he’s not getting any minutes, since he can’t fix his attitude. I assure you this; if Carrick results to not giving him minutes too, he’d beef with Carrick.
