Before the inevitable statement comes out tomorrow regarding a hefty fine. Complaint was made before the 1st leg. Rules were broken. Irrelevant that we should have beaten them comfortably. Irrelevant that he was an intern in his jeans & iPhone. He was sent to cheat. Shame.

@danielbuxton16 Totally irrelevant Dan. The rule is that you can’t observe training within 72 hours before a game. There is no doubt that they did this - so the rule was broken. Any financial penalty is insignificant next to PL tv money (£200m/year?) - so only a sporting penalty makes sense.

If the penalty is less than £200m (or expulsion from the playoffs) - then cheating like this is worth the risk. Hope the EFL don’t bottle it.
