@settatam @SodiqTade This is true, but doesn't discount his work in APC. Tinubu was just better at party primaries than he was. He depended too much on the Buhari leverage for the ticket, but Buhari wasn't willing to wield that.

@UzoChuma @SodiqTade Shebi he is trying to be president. Let him win now. Since he is so influential. Tinubu that had been out of government for 16 years still beat him in a primary where he was a powerful minister

Amaechi fought the most battle during the 2015 election. He was the DG who sacrificed his political goodwill in Rivers State just to defeat Jonathan. It is quite unfair that Tinubu gets all the accolades because he owns the media. First NADECO, and now Buhari 2015 victory. A lot went into the 2015 struggle. Many never recovered till date. It is even possible for them not to recover again. Atiku, Saraki, Amaechi, Kwankwaso. Some may never become President because of that single move but Tinubu has been the one moving around claiming the glory. Lol

@Onise_iyanu @SodiqTade The only thing Tinubu has over Amaechi is his control of Lagos party structure. This consolidation is only possible at that level because he literally owned AC and ACN. No one governor has achieved it that long... and Tinubu reigns supreme here.

You support him because it suits your bias and disdain for Tinubu. Okay, for the benefit of doubt let's acquiesce to Amaechi's claim: What structures did he build and is standing to have given Buhari the win? How come with his 'structure' in place, he lost to Wike twice in Rivers. Moreso, no one he supports has been able to win anything. What pathway did Amaechi have/has to winning talmabout becoming President?

@SodiqTade Tinubu and Buhuri could have won without Amaechi. Amaechi and Buhari could never have won without Tinubu. So yes, Tiniubu was a far more important factor in making Buhari president.

I just published the largest free VC directory on the internet, with over 500 different investor lists. For the last 5 years building OpenVC I’ve watched 40,000+ founders struggle with the same problem: They don't know who to pitch because thousands of inventors exist. Finding the right stage, geography, and thesis takes weeks of manual research most founders don't have. So we built the OpenVC Investor Lists. Comment “investor list” if you want free access. You can filter by: · Family offices in your city · Angels who write first checks · Deeptech VCs in your vertical · Investor type and stage in under 30 seconds And every profile is free to access so you can research before you reach out. What used to take weeks of research now takes 30 seconds. Want access to the full list of investors? 1: Follow me 2: Comment "investor list" I'll send you the link via DMs

President Muhammadu Buhari's 8 years (2015-2023) weren't perfect—no administration ever is. Human limitations and the sheer complexity of governing Nigeria mean shortcomings are inevitable. But too often, critics measure his tenure by an impossible standard: fixing EVERYTHING perfectly in just 8 years, ignoring the broken state he inherited and the massive global challenges he faced. He met a Nigeria on the brink: Boko Haram controlling vast territories, daily bombings in cities, corruption draining billions, foreign reserves depleted, economy heading into recession, power sector in shambles, infrastructure decayed after decades of neglect.Yet, against all odds—including oil price crash, COVID-19, and global recession—President Buhari delivered SOLID FOUNDATIONS for Nigeria's future prosperity. Here's a fair look at his major achievements: Security: Dramatically degraded Boko Haram—from controlling 17 LGAs in the North-East to scattered pockets. Bomb explosions that once rocked Abuja, Kano, and Maiduguri became rare. Over 100 Chibok girls were released. Sambisa Forest was recaptured. Military was massively re-equipped: Air Force: Acquired 38 new aircraft, including 12 A-29 Super Tucano attack jets (from USA), JF-17 Thunder fighters, Mi-35M helicopter gunships, Agusta 109 Power helicopters, Mi-171E helicopters, and more—biggest upgrade in decades. Army: Hundreds of new platforms like VT-4 main battle tanks, MRAPs, self-propelled howitzers, armored vehicles, troop carriers, and artillery from China and others. Navy: Added 20 capital ships and over 300 patrol boats/craft (many locally built), plus helicopters—transforming maritime security. Infrastructure Revolution: Historic investments reversed decades of decay. Completed Lagos-Ibadan standard gauge railway, Abuja-Kaduna rail, Itakpe-Warri rail, Abuja Light Rail. Second Niger Bridge, Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, Abuja-Kano Road, Bodo-Bonny Bridge, Apapa-Oshodi Expressway—all delivered or substantially advanced using innovative funding like Sukuk bonds and Road Tax Credit. New world-class airport terminals in Abuja, Lagos, Kano, Port Harcourt. Abuja runway rebuilt for the first time since the 1980s. Power projects like Gurara, Kashimbila, and Dadin-Kowa added capacity. Economy & Diversification: Pulled Nigeria out of the 2016 recession despite oil prices crashing from $111 to under $40. Non-oil revenue rose significantly. Passed the landmark Petroleum Industry Act (PIA). Massive social investment programs—N-Power, TraderMoni, MarketMoni, Conditional Cash Transfers, Home Grown School Feeding—reached millions of poor Nigerians, creating jobs and reducing poverty. Agriculture Boom: Anchor Borrowers’ Programme disbursed billions to smallholder farmers. Presidential Fertilizer Initiative revived local blending plants and slashed fertilizer prices. Nigeria became Africa's largest rice producer and reduced food imports dramatically. Food security improved significantly. Anti-Corruption & Governance: Implemented Treasury Single Account (TSA) for transparency. Secured more high-profile convictions than previous administrations combined. Whistleblower policy worked. Saved Nigeria $11 billion by winning the P&ID case in UK court. Digital economy exploded—ICT contribution to GDP hit nearly 20%. Landmark laws: Electoral Act Amendment, Not Too Young To Run, CAMA, Money Laundering Act. No leader fixes 60 years of neglect in 8 years. But Buhari left Nigeria stronger, with rails, roads, bridges, a modernized military, reformed institutions, and policies that President Tinubu and future leaders continue to build upon.History will judge him kindly—not as a perfect president, but as one with integrity who served with honesty and laid critical foundations for Nigeria’s progress.Thank you for your service, President Muhammadu Buhari.

Nigerians are tired of promises without results. Rotimi Amaechi stands out because his record is visible and verifiable From improving security and infrastructure to creating jobs, expanding education, healthcare, and rail development. Leadership is about results, and Amaechi has proven he can deliver.
CRA27 Advocacy@CRA27_Advocacy

ADC PRIMARIES📍 14 DAYS TO GO!!! 🇳🇬 For decades, Nigeria’s election cycles have followed a predictable pattern: grand promises followed by systemic failure. Leaders have repeatedly disappointed the public for so long that trust is virtually non-existent. How do we finally break this cycle? Apply a single, objective litmus test: past performance as the only reliable predictor of future results. By this standard, Rotimi Amaechi stands alone. He does not ask for blind faith; he invites an audit of his record against the most critical challenges facing Nigerians today. INSECURITY As Governor: Amaechi ended the militancy crisis and curbed the spate of kidnappings. On a national scale, as Minister, he reduced maritime piracy in Nigerian waters by over 80% in 2021. The first major drop since 1994. ELECTRICITY As Governor: Amaechi delivered 715MW of power generation capacity, seven transmission lines, 28 distribution stations, and 228 transformers to provide 24/7 electricity to the people of Rivers State. COST OF LIVING As Governor: Amaechi eased the financial burden on citizens by providing free education (including books and uniforms) through existing schools, 311 newly constructed primary schools, and 5 model secondary schools. He further expanded social support by providing free and accessible healthcare through existing facilities and 160 newly constructed health centres. JOBS As Governor: Amaechi created a conducive environment for the private sector to create jobs by ending insecurity and revamping infrastructure. He then engineered massive employment by hiring 13,210 teachers, 436 doctors, and 400 nurses. His Songhai Farm, Buguma fish, and banana plantation initiatives created thousands of jobs. Additionally, he built two major interchanges, two flyovers, 25 bridges, 890km of roads, and completed five shore protection projects, fueling massive job growth. He also revived the businesses of over 10,000 micro-entrepreneurs through the Rivers State Microfinance Agency. As Minister: Amaechi delivered 1,780km of rail and the Lekki Deep Sea Port, generating over 11,000 direct jobs. The Bottom Line: Nigerians have had enough 'hope' to last a lifetime. What we lack is 'proof'. Rotimi Amaechi has it.

You became a founder. You quit the 9-to-5. You raised a little money. Everyone called you "brave" over drinks. You spent your nights building and your days pitching "the future," convinced that the next launch would change your life forever. Then a year passes. Flatline traction. $0 salary. Your co-founder quit via Slack. Your girlfriend left for someone with a 401k and a "stable" future. Your friends are posting house keys while you’re staring at a bowl of ramen, rehearsing the same tired lies to your parents about why the "big break" is just around the corner. Is this the end? You start wondering if you made a mistake. No. You keep telling yourself every founders went through this at some points. But you don’t stop. Logic says quit. Your ego says run. But there’s a sickness in you that won't let go. You’d rather fail at this than succeed at anything else. You tell yourself it’s just one more launch, one more pivot, one more "yes." You’re not delusional; you’re committed. You’ll miss this. Not the stress, but the electricity. The raw doubt that forced you to grow. The quiet fire of building while the world slept. The pure, unrefined dopamine of that very first user. These aren't just "hard years", they are the years that forge you. One day, when the bank account is full but the mystery is gone, you’ll find yourself wishing you could feel this hungry again. They all do.
