@NVSportsCards @Master419B @WildSentences That makes sense for roommates. It doesn't make sense for a family. In a family, grown kids are supposed to inherit, and in return, elders are supposed to be cared for and provided for well past their productive years.

@V37432258 @Master419B @WildSentences Who said “out the nose” You’re projecting. Members of a household over 18 should “contribute”. It’s up to the household to determine what’s fair for everyone.

@NVSportsCards @Master419B @WildSentences Yes, he should live there unless he moves for a job or gets married before his parents die. Even if he didn't already own the house, he would inherit it eventually anyway. The whole idea of making everyone pay out the nose to live separately is insane.

@NVSportsCards @WildSentences Taking away money that could be invested in order to pressure a kid to make the financially horrible decision of moving out does not "teach responsibility".

@WildSentences Stepdad wasn’t trying to be the a-hole, he was trying to teach financial responsibility. No need to turn the tables. Because i guarantee the kid will be looking for help when it comes time to pay property taxes or factor mortgage interest into his personal taxes.

@ShipleyWrites "Indigenous" refers to populations who faced invasion and colonization, were displaced from their lands and have their cultures deliberately undermined by settler colonial policies. Using the term to refer to those of paler skin colour within Britain is an egregious contortion ..

Includes what you refer to as “mixed birth” or “at least one foreign born parent” in your article. You apply more racist criteria by excluding such people.

@tuuu28283 I typically use "US" or "USA" when conversing with foreigners just in case they might think I was referring to the two continents also named "America". (We say "The Americas" for the continents, but I have no idea if other languages make that subtle distinction)

If you watch the video the female cop very meekly mentions they should check him around the time he is on his last breath. The cop reads him his rights when he is already dead and a few seconds later the female cop opens his eyes and shines a flashlight in them and says “his pupils aren’t even reacting” then politely suggests to the male cops that they call an ambulance. Every cop but her should be arrested and charged. She should be stripped of her badge for acting like a shy schoolgirl incapable of doing her job herself.

Guys when you repost, add some context. I don't know what people are thinking when they just blindly repost. I know you have a thought in there. Share it. It's the whole point of X.

"I don't think you have mate." Yes, this is what the police said to Henry as he was dying, but it's more than that. It's a symbol of how White people have been betrayed and ignored in this country for decades. Girls and their parents disbelieved after 40+ years of sexual abuse at the hands of foreign men. The public crying out desperately for lower immigration, feeling displaced in their own towns and hopeless for the future. "I don't think you have..." is the ultimate symbol of a system which was once high trust, built by our people and for our own people, yet has been turned against us and is destroying us day after day. White people have tried desperately not to racialise themselves and political issues for a very long time, but we have been left with no other choice anymore. Henry was Polish, not English, and yet in the eyes of the state, the system, we are the same trash because we are both White. Trash to be discarded, ignored, and abused on the altar of diversity.

@Italofiend I've been there, and the thing that stopped me was knowing that no matter how bad it got in this life, hell would be a million times worse. It got better eventually. I wouldn't have believed that it could if you'd told me then, but by the grace of God it did.

This guy invented a water bottle with a built-in peel-off strap so you can wear it hands-free… and honestly? It’s kind of brilliant! He turns a regular bottle into “wearable water” that stretches to fit anyone, and while he jokes about it almost getting him in trouble, the idea itself is actually really practical. No more juggling your water while walking the dog, working, or being at a concert — just strap it on and go. Wear as many as you want, zero excuses, and you stay hydrated all day. Would you actually wear your water bottle like this, or are you still team “just carry it”?
End3of6Days9 (Helen) 🇺🇸@end3of6days9

Mom tries to humble her 16-year-old water-snob daughter with a blind taste test… but the results leave her speechless. Ivy has refused anything but Evian for years, so Mom lines up Nestlé, Smartwater, tap, Volvic, and Evian to prove a point — and this girl gets EVERY single one right, even with her eyes covered! Mom set up the whole test thinking she was about to prove her daughter wrong… only to end up completely shocked when Ivy identified every single water brand perfectly. Sometimes the point we’re trying to make ends up teaching us the real lesson instead! Could YOU tell the difference between tap and fancy bottled water in a blind test? I could maybe tell the difference between tap and the others, but certainly not between bottled water.

I was born and raised here. Countless brave Sikh soldiers died for Britain, proudly wearing their turban and kirpan. Thankfully, Rupert and Restore don't get to decide what is British. Beware … today they’re coming for me, but tomorrow it could be you!
Rupert Lowe MP@RupertLowe10

A Labour MP, Tanmanjeet Singh Dhesi, has attacked Restore Britain in Parliament for our push to get the Kirpan banned in public spaces. Under a Restore Britain Government, all will be equal. Un-British religious practices will not be tolerated or accepted. Enough is enough.

@ApexSeeker_ Growing up in the US, the only time our neighborhood ever got together was after a storm when the power went out and we had to cook all our frozen food so it wouldn't spoil. I think technology has removed the physical need for community, but the emotional need is still there.

The UK is the perfect example of when law-abiding citizens give up their ability to defend themselves, while it has NO EFFECT on the devils lurking in our societies.

In his final moments, Henry Nowak told police officers nine times “I can’t breathe” and four times that he had been stabbed. In response police officer dragged him across the gravel, handcuffed and read him his rights. It was the last thing Henry heard before he died.

@Cay_Red @gonefishin1948 You can explain circumstances that increase the severity of a lie without repeating the whole lie. Eg. "I lied to someone who had a right to know the truth" or "I lied to someone who got hurt because they believed me"

@gonefishin1948 Father, is 'a lie', a lie, or are there different degrees of lying? When going to confession, should we just say, "I told a lie"? or tell what the lie was?

If you are Catholic and will be going to the Sacrament of Reconciliation (Confession) keep a few things in mind: 1. Confess your sins, not other people's sins. 2. Don't tell a story about why you sinned. 3. Don't talk about other people. 4. Sins are not accidents, so if you accidentally sneezed in public that is not a sin. 5. Don't talk about who you do and do not like, what you do for fun, how tough your job is or how you "almost" sinned. 6. If you accidentally did something and it was not intentional it is not a sin. 7. Be assured that if you confess your sins as far as you can remember since your last confession all of your sins are forgiven. If you are not Catholic don't complain that Catholics do go to Confession.

@Utterly_Jean I had a teacher who insisted that a baby crying when people around it were tired was proof of selfishness caused by original sin. I thought her framing of the situation was proof of selfishness caused by individual sin.
