@robert23190 @conservfam7 I give 20 percent out of sympathy for the wait staff that work hard and otherwise get crappy pay. But 30 percent is insane. If the restaurant needs to pay their staff more, they should raise the prices on their menu. That'd be better than laying a guilt trip on customers.

@conservfam7 The tipping issue is crazy. Years ago 15% was a good tip, now I see places that suggest 30% tipping. That’s insane.
