Today NHS England has told me they hold no data on whether hospitals are step free and do not monitor compliance with equality law. That means no one nationally is checking if hospital buildings are physically accessible.
I am a blind journalist investigating this.
Have you been unable to use a main hospital entrance? Sent round the back? Forced to rely on staff? Missed appointments because of access barriers? Treated as an afterthought?

300k healthy individuals have been part of the "intensive work search" part of UC for more than 5 years and can't find a job. Yet millions of disabled people are supposed to just casually stroll in any position they like by "incentivising" them via (greater) poverty.

People sneer at welfare spending, but ignore a basic fact: most of that money is spent immediately in the real economy - on food, rent, energy, transport. It doesn’t vanish. It circulates through shops, bills, and jobs.

DoorDash driver poisoned food by spraying it with pepper spray.
