DEBUNKED! The Cybertruck overpass crash in Texas has been proven to be human error. Tesla’s telemetry logs show FSD was disabled 4 seconds before impact, leaving the human driver full responsibility for making the proper turn. Good riddance!

@elonmusk @wholemars @WR4NYGov “4 seconds” of disengagement is where this Cybertruck owner tried to takeover to save their lives because FSD was going straight ahead at full speed? 🤷🏻‍♂️ So by your logic, just let it go without disengaging and taking over FSD Supervised?

The media is running a story today about how a Cybertruck “allegedly” crashed on a Texas highway. Spoiler alert, the crash happened while the human driver was in control. The law firm, which is seeking $1 million, says that last summer Justine Saint Amour was driving her Cybertruck with Autopilot engaged. There’s just one problem — Autopilot is a legacy lane keeping system that never shipped on Cybertruck. The driver then admits that before the crash they disengaged the system and started driving manually. Indeed, the video shows the truck starting to turn before the driver disengaged and drove into the wall. Tesla hasn’t officially responded to the lawsuit yet, but available telemetry indicates the driver probably wasn’t paying attention, got startled, and crashed. There doesn’t seem to be any attempt to steer back towards the on-ramp in the video, rather you see the trajectory change from turning with the ramp to driving straight into it. When you crash your car, people tend to put blame on anyone but themselves. A high profile company like Tesla, with a CEO who is the wealthiest man on Earth? Yeah, they kinds of BS lawsuits happen often. Let’s wait for more data and discovery to take place, but based on the evidence i’m seeing so far that doesn’t look like something FSD — even an older V13 — would do.

Elon Musk confirmed via Telemetry Data that the woman driving the Cybertruck in this video disengaged the system four seconds before the crash. She was manually driving throughout this entire video. Don't believe everything you see/hear from Legacy Media about Tesla.

@wholemars @BullTradeFinder Shouldn't it help steer away to avoid collisions—like when it's in FSD mode to keep people inside the vehicle safe? Anti-collision features (Not just Warning) should be standard on any Tesla (the world's safest vehicles), not just on FSD-equipped “subscribed” vehicles.

@TechOperator Yeah, if you have the privilege of charging at home. Not everyone (apartment, condo, and some townhome dwellers) has access to it. Plus, pumping gas only takes 5–10 minutes compared to those rely to charge theirs EVs at Superchargers. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Anti-EV crowd logic: They pump gas dozens of times a year, I supercharge maybe 3-4 times a year, and somehow I'm the one wasting my time.

FSD unsupervised will require camera washers…. Convince me I’m wrong after this morning 🤷‍♂️ @tesla when do we get those nice repeater/rear cam setups like you have on Robotaxis???

@TeslaPatriot I would pay Model X prices for this. All the technology like FSD plus 8 seats with a spacious third row that can convert to a work van or camper van when the seats are down. It’s going to be in high demand. 📈🚀

This will sell only if it’s affordable enough. Maybe $69,990, right between Cybertruck and YL or YP That means it’s specced for MOMS to make the decision. No Cybertruck off-road suspension, no folded HFS exterior panels, no AC receptacles, no giant windshield and wiper. Conventional unibody construction. Built on Cybertruck platform but a foot or two shorter, with 48v and steer by wire but otherwise as conventional as a Model Y And no 400+ mile range whiners. Giant batteries push cost prohibitively above the “Mom” market. (Don’t know why this account doesn’t want comments)

This mf would easily sell 10x Cybertruck numbers. Make it happen Franz/Elon 🔥

@tesla_na It's not worth subscribing to supervised FSD for $99/mo. Especially to those with HW3 models.

Under Supervision! No thanks! Once a true believer in FSD, I paid $12k for an unfinished beta software based on future promises of Full Self-Driving. Now I’m left with junk that can’t even take me from point A to B without an intervention—plus an ultimatum to transfer it by a deadline. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me.

@elonmusk Yet, they wasted the space on the Cybertruck’s tonneau cover. It should be a Tesla mini solar panel that charges while parked.

1. I love Tesla—all the way from Model S, 3, X, Y to Cybertruck. 2. I have tried the latest version of FSD v14 on my Cybertruck and a test drive in a new Model Y. 3. It’s just that I have trust issues with Tesla on FSD. They have not defined FSD (supervised to unsupervised) on current HW4 models.

What @Tesla should have done is give those of us early adopters the remaining credits upfront toward our next purchase—either vehicles or remaining units of credits for their purchased FSD price at their purchased price—toward the next vehicle until they run out. “If they truly want to sell subscriptions based”

I am not totally hateful about how FSD was and is now. It’s the future of transportation. It’s just that Tesla has obsoleted the beta version supporters who backed it from the beginning with their vehicles. They—including me—now have wear and tear, e.g., curb rashes and other suspension damages, because of early FSD beta misbehavior. They have been left stranded with no future FSD updates like new hardware and worse is that given an ultimatum to transfer to a new vehicle with updated hardware by a deadline (FOMO), without clear vision or plans.
