Last night, we celebrated a proud milestone for Indigenous entrepreneurship in Ottawa, the graduation of the 2024 Wejibàbandan Indigenous Business Incubator cohort! Congratulations to these inspiring entrepreneurs: 🌟 Amanda Fox of Pow Wow FitNish, combining fitness and culture to promote health and wellness. 🌟 Kaylee Smoke of Enska showcasing Indigenous artistry through hair, beauty and barbering. 🌟 Denyse Nadon of Tribalure, building connections through cosmetics and skin care. This program, powered by the ADAAWE HUB and NACCA, is a testament to what happens when hard work, determination, and community come together. Over the past three months, these entrepreneurs have built sustainable, scalable businesses that will contribute to their communities and the Canadian economy. As someone deeply committed to empowering entrepreneurship and economic opportunity, I couldn’t be prouder to support them on their journey. Their success is a win for all of us, showing the power of small business to drive innovation, self-reliance, and growth. @JustinTrudeau People can protest - not vehicles. Standing vehicles should be made illegal in protest settings. They are intimidation, weapons and violence. Protestors should stand up, not cower in their truck cabins. Get rid of the vehicles and they will go home.

We’ll always defend the rights of Canadians to peaceful assembly and to freedom of expression. We’ll also do whatever is necessary to reinforce the principles, values, and institutions that keep all Canadians free – and that’s what we’re doing with the Emergencies Act.

Violating a court order is a punishable crime( that includes a fine or jail time), they got a free pass. As a resident I feel insulted, as a citizen I feel ashamed

Setting apartments on fire, swarming arresting officers, intimidating and harassing residents- this is domestic terrorism.

@JimWatsonOttawa and @cmckenney, @JennaSudds and other MPs are saying they are waiting for a request from #Ottawa to intervene. What's the hold-up? Why are we not asking for military intervention and for the Feds to take over this situation?
