STATE TUITION ASSISTANCE PROGRAM REFORMS PASS UNANIMOUSLY! H.B. 1595 and S.B. 1106 were sent to a six legislator Conference to resolve language differences between the two bills, the conference adopted SB 1106 and was unanimously passed by both the House and Senate! #VNGA

During Black History Month, I will be highlighting various leaders and trailblazers who have contributed to America’s history and broken barriers, starting with Jackie Robinson. “The most luxurious possession, the richest treasure anybody has, is his personal dignity.” - Jackie Robinson On April 15, 1947, Robinson broke the MLB color barrier with the Brooklyn Dodgers. That same year, he was named Rookie of the Year and was National League MVP in 1949. In 1955, he became a World Series champion. We remember Robinson for his legacy in the MLB and his resolve in never having his dignity taken from him.
