Thanks to President Trump and @SecretaryWright, more American oil is flowing in California! This decisive action strengthens America’s national security and reduces California’s reliance on foreign energy.

Despite being one of the most prolific oil and gas regions in the world, the state of Texas is proposing to build 200-foot high high-voltage power lines to support renewable energy. The routes will cross private land, and landowners in the Lone Star State are facing the threat of eminent domain. UK Energy Secretary Miliband says people should drink “warmer beer” to save on energy costs. Yuck. How about producing more reliable, affordable energy in the first place instead of resorting to this kind of “green” nonsense?

A solar field in Indiana was destroyed following the recent storm, which included high winds and tornadoes. Because of this, the field will not produce power and could cost hundreds of thousands, if not millions, of dollars to repair. This incident shows why we need reliable energy sources. Coal, gas, and nuclear power can generate electricity regardless of the weather.

“BUSES ABLAZE”: A Vermont school district had the majority of its EV bus fleet destroyed after an electric fire tore through its busses and forced the Allen Brook School in Williston to close for the rest of the week. Brutal. Maybe the EV “transition” wasn't the best of ideas.

Most Americans don’t realize this When you invest through a mutual fund or index fund, you usually don’t vote the shares of the companies you own. The fund manager does. That means a small number of asset managers may cast votes tied to millions of Americans’ nest eggs.
