This game is tough enough as it is, but when you have jocks like Joel Rosario fall asleep at the wheel, it’s frustrating and plain embarrassing. Rosario is a nice guy and one of the strongest riders when he wants to be. Not today, though. 🤦‍♂️

@KennyMcPeek I love your placement of Honey’s to Blame in that Arky-Bred N3L on Thursday. I know you’re high on this animal when you mentioned him on Byk’s show. Watching his last workout though, it appears he gets out worked by a claiming type. Is HTB just an average work horse?

@DRFHersh big fan. Met you at 2017 Belmont (Tapwrit year) and you were very gracious with your time. I’ve seen you mention not being able to see workout videos of certain horses at FG. Is this true for all horses based at FG? The kybreds website doesn’t even show Bella Ballerina.

@andyserling @TomAmossRacing This is high praise coming from someone whose recall of NY racing history is second to none. Also, props to Tom. From winning a non-stakes race at Fairmount Park to debuting an obscenely talented 2yo at the Spa. Quite the summer. The guy does it all!

It’s hard to describe that debut for It’s Our Time without going over the top. You would be hard pressed to remember a better one for a 2YO. Comparable to Uncle Mo and Discreet Cat. Won’t be surprised to see a fig between 106-110 for the @TomAmossRacing runner.

Races 3, 5, 8, and 10 are off the turf. The Glens Falls is currently on the turf.

@andyserling @iradortiz Speaking of rides, is it unfair to say Prat moved far too soon on Strategic Focus? Perhaps he was afraid to let Crudo get away? Not sure if it’s an unfair criticism of Prat, but it sure seemed a premature move. I could be wrong, though. 🤷

That was an exceptional ride by @iradortiz on Proctor Street. Tucking inside into the first turn won the race. She also ran extremely well

Yo , remember to drink water when it’s this hot ,even if you don’t feel like it. That’s how dehydration begins. Also please give your horses cold water, even in the dead of winter, this business of warm water a fallacy. God gave them a long neck that warms the water before it hits the belly. He knows things.
