Lokalizację wybrano ze względu na centralne położenie, rozwiniętą infrastrukturę i dostęp do wykwalifikowanych pracowników. Rząd podkreśla, że inwestycja wzmacnia rolę Polski jako „bramy do Europy” dla firm z Azji oraz przyspiesza dekarbonizację i unowocześnianie budownictwa. Produkowane urządzenia mają wspierać odchodzenie od ogrzewania paliwami kopalnymi i ograniczać emisję CO₂. Daikin, globalny potentat z Osaki, posiada już 13 fabryk w Europie, a polski zakład ma stać się jednym z kluczowych elementów europejskiej transformacji energetycznej.

Thousands of middle men not producing any value. The goal is not to live cheap, but get price/value factor.

Polish corporates: buying Western Europe AND moving into Central Asia. Today's Puls Biznesu (Polish Financial Times) reports the second play. Rohlig SUUS Logistics (Polish freight forwarder, all modes) opening operations in Uzbekistan - their 9th country, after Kazakhstan a few years ago. They're not the first. Former CEO of PKO BP (largest Polish bank) is now running Hamkor Bank in Tashkent. Selena (Polish construction chemicals) has been in Kazakhstan for 23 years and is now building out further with EBRD backing. LOT Polish Airlines runs direct flights to Tashkent and Almaty. Uzbekistan in 2026 looks a lot like Poland in the 1990s. 37M people, median age under 30, GDP growth above 5%, capital pouring into infrastructure. The geopolitics are accelerating it. Suez disrupted by Houthi attacks. Iranian airspace closed after the US-Israel strikes. Russia rail corridor killed by sanctions. The "Middle Corridor" through Central Asia (across the Caspian, into Europe) is taking on the diverted volume. Poland can be the logistics bridge between Europe, Central Asia and the Far East. This is the kind of expansion story international investors should be watching. The Polish corporate playbook now runs in two directions at once: buying mature assets in Western Europe (Polpharma, Maspex) and planting operating flags in growth markets to the east. If you're a fund looking at Poland/CEE+ exposure, the geography just expanded. And my DMs are open as always ;)

@Van_Diemen_ Let me think. Some parties made some investments before and put their hand on Paraguay, and now want to benefit from late investors. Good climate for investments was 20 yrs ago, when you could get not overpriced properties. Now value / price ratio is not that good.

Paraguay gets judged by homocide or crime stats… but the story is way more interesting 🇵🇾 A huge chunk of the homicide rate distortion comes from a single border narco hotspot. Meanwhile, Greater Asunción is estimated closer to ~3 per 100,000. That’s safer than many cities people call “developed” without thinking twice. Cheap energy. No hurricanes. No earthquakes. Low taxes. Growing economy. And way safer than people assume. Paraguay might be the most underrated country in the Americas.

@patobonato I mean - it may not be necessary cheap, but you know for what you pay. For example, its not the same in most countries of Latin America where at every corner I felt scammed. The thing is not to live cheap but to live and spend for something that bring value and pays off.

@patobonato Yes. You are right. Poland has the best quality to price ratio for most of the things in the whole world, opposite to some marketing traps around the world, like Paraguay for example. All the best and enjoy your time.

Me mudé a Varsovia hace 3 años 🇵🇱 Puntos positivos: > es seguro > es limpio > todavía mantiene su cultura e identidad > gran comunidad de nómadas digitales > enorme variedad de cafés y restaurantes > muchos centros comerciales y marcas mundiales > ubicación central en Europa > mejor calidad - beneficios que otros países sobrevalorados con mayor marketing Contras: > cada vez se están viendo más africanos > se está haciendo cada vez más popular y eso va a atraer más inmigrantes de 5to mundo Acabo de pasar unos meses en mi país (Argentina 🇦🇷) antes de volver a Varsovia. Extrañaba mucho el estar acá. No digo que Polonia sea para todos. Es muy subjetivo. Lo que sí les recomiendo, es que vivan en un lugar que los eleve en todo sentido. Que se sientan contentos con solo caminar por sus calles…
