Btw if I have to wait for June 9th for Exotics to get Tier 5 stats and some old random Cuirass still has 10 more stats than a Godroll new one I'm actually gonna crash out. FIX THE DAMN ILLEGAL ARMOR OR MAKE NEW ARMOR BETTER IT'S NOT THAT HARD.

This update is being changed and expanded to include sizable quality-of-life updates and as a result, will also be renamed. This update will now launch on June 9, 2026. Lots of players, including myself, are still logging in waiting for updates to the game.
This delay is going to make alot of people officially back off. Now we for sure know there isn’t a magical “we back” update the next Tuesday reset.. or the next..

@MacticsG1 @DestinyTheGame This is how you kill marathon AND destiny at the same time. I won't consider picking marathon up until something is done about destiny. History will only repeat itself if anyone plays marathon before the current game is fixed. Who do you think WOULD be playing marathon mostly? Y

These changes sound nice and all but at this point I don't think this is enough to save the game and bring most players back.
These are all things that people were begging for half a year ago and had they been implemented then, then I think we would be in a different situation. But things are much more dire now than they were back then. Player numbers have bled out too much and itll take way more than this to bring them back.
Furthermore to still hear nothing significant about the roadmap or the state of the game and the big picture plans for the franchise is so frustrating. I understand that these types of things probably take a lot of time but the community has felt so led on for so long due to the lack of communication and expectation setting when it comes to estimated times of delivery on these items. Everyone has been under the impression that these things have been right around the corner week after week for the last 6 months and its just death by a thousand cuts every single week that we hear nothing.
To wait till june for anything noteworthy also feels like a borderline death sentence considering player numbers are already rock bottom and will continue to fall with no significant updates or communications. It feels like the game is going to enter a state of dormancy more than it already has and things like tier 5 exotic stats and game wide gear tiering will NOT be enough to dig out of that.
I mean no disrespect, just honest and genuine feedback, but as a destiny player I am hurting big time right now and expected way more and would've liked to see it communicated it way sooner, and I know most of the community feels the same way.
I do feel it important to make it as clear as possible though that I feel that the changes promised will NOT be enough. If this is all that is planned for the future and to save the current state of the game, please reconsider and find ways to do more. I understand that is a tall ask, but I feel its necessary for the game to find its footing again.

I get it, we don’t make pennies anymore. Totally fine. But if you owe me $0.02 and you don’t have pennies… that feels like a you problem, not a me problem.
My change at Walmart was supposed to be $5.57. Instead, I got $5.55. Will two cents ruin my day? No. Will I survive? Yes. But let me teach y’all some math… If 50 people get shorted $0.02, that’s a whole $1.00. If it’s $0.04? Walmart makes $2.00. If this happens 100,000 times a day throughout the USA, that’s $2,000 free in their pocket.
So how badly are we getting screwed by big companies? I think they should be rounding UP, not down.

Growing up in Colorado, I watched the state fundamentally change its culture after marijuana was legalized in 2012.
It is utterly unrecognizable today, and is not a place I would currently feel comfortable raising my daughter.
From 2013 to 2021 in Colorado:
• Traffic deaths where drivers tested positive for marijuana increased 138%. All traffic deaths increased 29%.
• Past month marijuana use (ages 12 and older) increased 26% and was 61% higher than the national average.
• Youth marijuana use (ages 12–17) was 39% higher than the national average.
• Marijuana-only exposures increased 185%.
• Suicide incidents in which toxicology results were positive for marijuana increased from 14% to 29%.
Marijuana legalization was promised to be a cash cow for the Colorado public schools, finally fueling more tax revenue into our kids’ education. But in FY 2020, Marijuana tax revenue represented only 0.98% of Colorado’s budget.
Nothing about this is showing a state setting the standard for American excellence - it shows a culture leading the race to the bottom.

The longer you leave critical issues unaddressed, the more people leave, and NEVER come back.
Here's a list of issues that are imperative you mention solutions for, or at least acknowledge:
-The delay
-The roadmap
-PvP (cheaters, networking, sbmm ruining every portal mode, sandbox balance)
-The PvE meta (rocket pulses cannot continue to be straight up better than most heavies. Abilities cannot continue to make primaries worthless and everyone invincible. This is insanely boring)
-The insane communication drought
-Plans moving forward for the Portal (everyone hates it)
And lastly, the abysmal content drought we're in right now. This lack of communication hurts Marathon as well by garnering negative community sentiment from your core playerbase before the game even launches.
Please, I want this game to be good more than anyone, but the way you are handling it screams that you genuinely do not care at all.
