BLAZING STARで難易度あがると、透明弾が生まれる理由 反響を頂きましたので続きとして、返答形式で答え合わせなど ↓ ご覧頂き有り難うございます ここで言って良いのか判りませんが、仰る通りのご指摘です。 その現象は、リリース当時チームの誰も発見出来ておらず、後日発覚しました。 （当時めちゃくちゃ反省しました。すみません。。） 企画デザイナプログラマ含め10人チョイとかそういう少数精鋭であった事は言い訳ですが、プログラム的に、プレイ成績やプレイヤーの上手さに連動し、半永久的に難易度が上がっていく設計とし、未知のハードコアゲーマーですら飽きない様に実装したつもりでした 今で言えばMVCモデルとでも言いましょうか、当時としてはほぼ聞いた事がありませんでしたが、つまり、実装と描画を完全に分けて制御しておりました とても上手い、僕らすらも想像しえない上手いプレイヤーが神がかったプレイをされると、管理している内部の情報は間に合っていても、NEOGEOというハードウェアが表示出来るスプライトが枯渇します それでもゲームは止まらない様に実装していましたが、ハードウェアで描画することが出来なくなってしまった大量の「弾」すらも、ひたむきに処理しておりました これが「透明弾」を生み出してしまった原因です 数十年越しですが、申し訳ありませんでした 当時、チームでもこんなに難易度があがるだなんて想像しておりませんでした 現代とは違い、熱狂的な全国のファンの方からプレイビデオが届き、そこで知りました パッチをあてる様な機構も存在しない時代で、熱心なファンの方達の愛溢れるプレイにみな感動しながらも、私は一人こっそり、まだまだ未熟だなあと反省したものでした
