As expected, Pratt posted a big fundraising haul. Still, don’t think anyone was willing to bet he’d pull in $2.719 mil.

Spencer Pratt's campaign contributions are coming from everywhere except LA. 1st blush review is 85% from places like Florida and Texas. Hopefully, LA Times will notice.

He also took $ from Brett Ratner who was run out of Hollywood for sexual harassment and alleged sexual assault. Take a look Rob at his 24 hr report from May 18th. 18 out of 18 contributions came from everywhere other than LA. Never seen 80% of funding from outside the city. Very strange.

@UnrigLA Did anyone else notice that his campaign address is in Imperial Beach, CA (Near San Diego). How do you run a campaign for Los Angeles Mayor and not have an LA address. Even if this is his treasurers address, He should have hired someone in LA.

Kenneth, here is the problem, other than 3 DSA members on council, no one trusts you or wants to work with you. You may have had good intentions, and it may not be your fault, but at this point you are completely ineffective. Thus, you can collect your $250k salary for four years and accomplish nothing or you could resign.

@VahediDavid why would Caruso waste an endorsement on a candidate that has zero chance?

One reason that Caruso has not endorsed if he is willing, is because people are only tuning in as of this week. Only 1.9% of the ballots in LA County have been returned. Thus, an endorsement later this week or early next week would have the most impact. For Pratt supporters, my gut says he would not endorse Pratt. Yes, Pratt has run a spirited and passionate campaign, but Caruso served on the LAPD Commission, the DWP Commission, and many other committees all for free for years. Pratt showed up after the fires (I am not knocking Pratt). If Caruso endorses, it will be Adam Miller. They are both businessmen that started their own businesses, and both became hugely successful. Both men have given away millions to charity and to try to help others. Finally, Caruso would have a seat at city hall anytime he wanted with Miller. Pratt is more of a maverick thus less predictable. My two cents as my crystal ball is still broken.

I hear you loud and clearly Leigh, but you just admitted our city is fucked up why would we re-elect Karen Bass when she was a big part of that? Raman and Bass are unacceptable to me the bottom line is better candidates should have come forward if Pratt gets elected then maybe Democrats will realize they need to move further to the center because voters are willing to elect an inexperienced fuck up over the other two
