‼️ 🇷🇺 Moscow exchange offices have run out of dollars & euros after the ruble crashed to 73 per USD - the strongest in years. 🇷🇺 financial media report: most points now only buy foreign cash. Buying or reserving is nearly impossible - banks stopped ordering new supplies.💵Ultra-high interest rates & mandatory dollar sales by exporters pushed the ruble higher, sparking a rush for “cheap” currency ahead of summer holidays. Classic supply-demand whiplash in a sanctioned economy. Black-market premiums will rise, queues will return, and the gap between official & real liquidity will widen. If the ruble stays strong, this shortage will likely continue until late May - early June. #RussianEconomy #CurrencyCrisis

@MarionetteJones @artstop @MauriceHirsch4 @OmarHamadD Oh yeah, that's not a secret to anyone. It's just important to point out absolute nonsense like claiming that he tweeted out about the impending attack 30 min before it actually started.

This terrorist, @OmarHamadD, knew about the October 7 massacre, BEFORE IT STARTED at 06.29. He was already tweeting about it at 04:57. He could have prevented the massacre. He could have prevented the 🇮🇱 response. Only the terrorists had prior info.

@MauriceHirsch4 @OmarHamadD The local Jerusalem / Gaza time of that tweet was 6:57 am. If you want to make fun of shameless Pallywood propaganda, better fix your own propaganda output first.

@artstop @MauriceHirsch4 @OmarHamadD "the link to the actual post" shows YOUR local time, and always has on twitter and X. It can be literally anything depending on whether you're viewing the tweet in Australia or USA or EU etc. The real local time was 6:57 am, exactly 30 min after the attack at Erez crossing began.

@MauriceHirsch4 @OmarHamadD Strange. The proposed Community Note claims that this was posted "local time about a half an hour" after the attack began, but the link to the actual post shows it as being even earlier than 4:57am. He claims to be in Gaza, so the time zone article from Wikipedia seems moot.

@davidharsanyi NYT stated what their "corroboration of the events" was - Euro-Med, Breaking the Silence, B’Tselem etc. Those would be the "independent experts" that were consulted. Obviously so, since there is ZERO corroboration for the doggies claim outside of EuroMed & twitter nutbags.

These statements just scream guilt. Read this closely and you'll understand that they have zero corroboration for any of the actual claims. In the story of the 23 year old woman, for example, Kristof conveniently fails to provide a single fact that would allow any follow-up investigation. No place or time or name or reason for detainment. This should be a glaring red flag for any editor. And if corroboration of the events already exists in the public record, why the anonymity and a complete lack of detail? Now, that's just dealing with the existence of the accuser, not even her claims. What part of the dog rape story was fact checked? It's so nonsensical that any real editor would have a million questions. And the named accusers in the "opinion" piece-- I notice they stressed this to wrongly insinuate that the basic ethical guidelines for reporting are different -- are violent activists (and an accused sex pest and crank with zero connections to any of this other than spreading conspiracies.) Failing to give that context or possible motivation is another huge red flag, as any real editor knows, as well. I doubt even the Times would have published something so incredibly shoddy if it wasn't written by a big-name columnist aiming at the left's favorite target (tho, who knows these days?). It doesn't meet the minimal standard of ethical journalism. Probably because most, or all of it, is a lie.

Wow... I'm not a lawyer but from my research it appears that a lot of people misunderstand “actual malice.” Netanyahu does not have to prove that the NYT hates him. Under U.S. defamation law, he would have to prove the paper either knew the allegations were false, or published them with reckless disregard for whether they were true. That is an extremely high bar and why these cases are notoriously difficult to win. What makes this interesting is that the article relied on sources tied to Hamas aligned activist networks and made extremely inflammatory allegations that would normally require overwhelming verification before publication. The fact that it ran in the opinion section does not automatically shield the NYT. Opinion writers have broad protection for arguments and conclusions, but they still cannot knowingly publish false factual claims or recklessly present unverified allegations as true. So the fight will likely center on recklessness. Did the NYT ignore obvious credibility problems? Did they fail to properly vet the claims and sourcing before publishing accusations this serious? The discovery should undoubtedly prove interesting. In my opinion this is long overdue. Curious to hear from lawyers about what might happen here.

@NYTimesPR You fact-checked that all Gaza prisoners were sexually assaulted & female prisoners are "systematically" raped and all that is "organized state policy"? How many allegations of females being raped makes it systematic, one? And how's the trained rape dogs fact check coming along.

@hald26468928 @christopherrufo Rufo is clearly against spending one cent on any communication devices for prisoners. @JoeTruzman Perhaps Khalil al-Hayya didn't mention that his son was a Hamas Nukhba (elite) member because he was only posthumously promoted to that rank by the IDF a full week after the strike? At the time of the Al Jazeera interview his son was still "truly a figure of no interest".

The Shin Bet intelligence agency along with the Israeli military announced the killing of Hamza al-Sherbasi who was a Hamas commander and took part in the October 7 attack on southern Israel. Al-Sherbasi was killed alongside Azzam al-Hayya, the son of Hamas leader Khalil al-Hayya. The eliminations occurred roughly a week ago. --- Observing the funeral of al-Sherbasi, you would not know he was a member of Hamas and took part in the 10/7 attack. Furthermore, after al-Sherbasi and Azzam were killed, Khalil al-Hayya went on Al-Jazeera to denounce Israel, not mentioning that his son was a Hamas Nukhba (elite) member and that he was traveling with a commander who took part in the 10/7 attack.

Today, the @nytimes chose to publish one of the worst blood libels ever to appear in the modern press. In an unfathomable inversion of reality, and through an endless stream of baseless lies, propagandist Nicholas Kristof turns the victim into the accused. Israel - whose citizens were the victims of the most horrific sexual crimes committed by Hamas on October 7, and whose hostages were later subjected to further sexual abuse - is portrayed as the guilty party. This publication is no coincidence. It is part of a false and well-orchestrated anti-Israel campaign aimed at placing Israel on the UN Secretary-General’s blacklist. Israel will fight these lies with the truth - and the truth will prevail.

@cellar_dorz @JoeTruzman I don't dispute that Al-Mutawqs were pro-Hamas in general (this guy was a policeman). But the Oct 21 2023 strike on a family home that really did kill over 20 (mostly women/children) had little to do with your later examples. That's a LOT of collateral damage and not proportional

Airwars deems all casualties «civilian»; all strikes «Israeli» (unless caught «live» on camera by AJ). It won’t acknowledge Hamas infrastructure or combattant targets b/c Hamas & MoH won’t. Airwars will legitimize whatever the MoH gives it. This Oct 21 strike occurred a few days after Al Ahli. Airwars accepted the «471» MoH # as the range max w/o verification. Not even Hamas media sources corroborate this. (Hind Khoudary’s coverage identified 30-40 bodies as « ‘all’ the people who died. ») Zakaria Ayoub & Sabri Muhammad were very likely related (fathers Ayoub & Muhammad=brothers; grandfather=Sabri). Common for Hamas internal security to hold military positions. Per David Collier’s report, Zakaria Ayoub was kld during intense fighting Oct 28, 2024 NEXT TO Sabri family compound…while NOT looking for food. (see Collier video of Hamas footage) The IDF issued evacuation notices and warned of heavy strikes in the north a week before. Civilian casualties are a tragedy, compounded by a lack of infrastructure built to protect civilians. david-collier.com/the-truth-behi… terrorism-info.org.il/Data/pdf/PDF_0…?

October 7 police officer identified: During the October 7 attack, terrorists kidnapped Samer Talalka (white arrow) to Gaza. After examining this photo and doing some open-source research, I uncovered information that I have not seen published by outlets or anyone else. Open-source research I conducted uncovered the identity of one individual with Talalka during his abduction in Gaza. The individual (white circle) is named Sabri Mutawaq, who worked as a Hamas police officer. According to Airwars.org, an individual named Sabri Mutawaq, who I believe is the same person in the photos, was killed by an Israeli airstrike shortly after the October 7 war began. The IDF airstrike that killed Mutawaq indicates that he was targed due to his role in the kidnapping of Talalka. Mutawaq's father was a member of Hamas but I did not find concrete evidence showing that Sabri was as well, though evidence strongly suggests he was. Lastly, the IDF mistakenly killed Talalka and other hostages on December 15, 2023.

Apparently, according to some “Slava Ukraini” folk, Russia and Putin are also to blame for the fact that Russian neo-Nazis in Ukraine are living their absolute best lives. So let me illustrate this with the example of Alexey Levkin. In Russia, he was prosecuted and imprisoned. In Ukraine, he became an ideologue of Azov and is now the right-hand man of the HUR-linked Russian Volunteer Corps. He opens exhibitions at the National Museum, gives interviews to the Ministry of Defense’s flagship media outlets, lectures at military academies, sells merch with Nazi aesthetics, and organizes neo-Nazi concerts in downtown Kyiv that draw crowds of more than 1,000 people. Quite a career upgrade. Do you understand the difference?

@cellar_dorz @JoeTruzman Moutawaq is a prominent clan and was in the IDF database so they just bombed the family home during the air war a week before the ground operations began. No one was "fighting" the IDF from that home. Problem is, the home was guaranteed to be stuffed with civilians and it was.

@cellar_dorz @JoeTruzman No clue what you're getting at but there are dozens in the Al-Moutawaq clan and 100s/1000s of "Al-Moutawaqs" spelled 10 different ways in Gaza. Truzman provided the Airwars link: Oct 21 2023 air strike, not the "starving" child from July 2025 or some street fight in Oct 2024.
