What is even the point of Parliament?
At Health Committee, we asked to see the PrescribeIT contracts, in which the Liberals blew $250 million on NOTHING.
But Mark Carney’s Chief Filibuster Officer spent 2 hours talking to prevent us from seeing it.
I asked why at Question Period, but the Chief Filibuster Officer took the question and…. Filibustered.

It's shocking how easily Canadians mock and attack Americans, especially when Americans are nowhere in sight and cannot counter the lies. It's cowardly and cheap behaviour, will not generate anything positive for Canadians. But it's working on the Canadian masses, they love cheering on the public attacks and blaming Americans for all of Canada's problems. Sigh.

Fascinating that the Trump administration would highlight this as a trade pressure point (and rightfully so), and instead of being diplomatic... he mocks it.
Foolish error. Grave mistake for anyone cheering it on. I wonder how they'd all feel should 75% of our exports suddenly have nowhere to go. I wonder how successful they'd view Carney's trade MOUs at that point.

Such perspective typically comes with maturity and experience.
High achievers are exactly that. High goals are set, achieved and then higher ones are set. Eventually one pauses to ask why we keep repeating such a cycle at the cost of the two most treasured things in life.

After owning multiple properties, we are now renting a simple home.
After running companies with hundreds of employees, the current team is only five, incl. me.

When your working life rewards you, it’s easy to ratchet up the complexity: homes, cars, travel, possessions etc. I have found that all that complexity comes at the sake of your most fleeting asset: your time. Instead of building things, all of a sudden you’re dealing with minutiae and logistics. Instead of talking mostly to engineers, you’re talking mostly to non-engineers. The building stops…the business of managing self inflicted complexity begins. It’s worth noting that the best players in the game (Buffett, Elon) have kept their life extremely basic, almost monastic/nomadic, as success ratcheted them ever higher. I think it’s the biggest secret hiding in plain sight: When the world upgrades your status, downgrade your complexity.

Fun facts: Patrick Pichette served on Twitter’s board of directors during a time period when many political dissidents - myself included - were banned. At the same time, he sat on the board of directors at the Trudeau Foundation. Elon Musk fired him.

The Liberal party has Patrick Pichette a former Senior VP of Google on stage who lives in Europe by the way, say that if Canadians want to leave Canada to work in the US they need to pay an exit tax of half a million dollars. The guy did the very thing to get a Microsoft job decades ago and paid 30 bucks. Now he wants young Canadians to be trapped here. The Liberals are nuts.

It's interesting that @JohnTory, who now regards himself as a political independent, has decided to endorse @DolyBegum.
She's the federal Liberal candidate in Scarborough Southwest and former NDP MPP who suggested in an IG post/statement last year that "Canada remains complicit in the ongoing genocide in Gaza." (See here: instagram.com/dolybegumssw/p….)
Begum also said in the Ontario Legislature last November that Prime Minister Mark Carney and his Liberal government need to find "its moral backbone, the courage and conviction to stop sending arms and enabling this genocide." (See here: #para268" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">ola.org/en/legislative….) This is the same party and government she's running for.
Was Tory aware of Begum's controversial remarks on these issues - and others? I don't know. Does he side with her positions? I'd like to think not.
It's probably worth asking him...and I'll do so here.
