🚨BREAKING: There is NO water in The Rio Grande?! I’m standing here in New Mexico and the river is completely DRY. Nearby AI data centers are consuming massive amounts of water to keep their systems cool. Meta’s Los Lunas facility alone has reportedly been tied to roughly 75 million gallons of water usage per year connected to Rio Grande resources and it’s only ONE of many projects expanding across the state. People can argue over the exact numbers, but one thing is undeniable… these facilities require enormous amounts of water and there are more data centers across the country being built as we speak. This is starting to look like an environmental disaster in plain sight. We need to put pressure on local representatives and the President to examine this environmental crisis before it’s too late.

We just bought a new home that has a bunch of beautiful windows. However, there is a window in my children's bathroom that is on the front of the house and very close to the shower. Looking for recommendations on how to keep the light but also give my children privacy while they're in the bathroom. (The thing currently covering the bottom of the window is a mirror that's temporarily leaning against the house.)

Some timeline cleanser of a little feral kitten born under my storage shed. I've about got her tamed down. She got a bath yesterday with some Dawn dish washing liquid. The poor little thing was covered in fleas. I put some Diatomaceous earth on her to try to help her repel them as well. She is sweet as a button. Im gonna keep her I think. She isnt scratching and digging nonstop. I can tell she feels a whole lot better not being eaten alive by the fleas all over her.
