Since 2010 there has been an overall leakage from the state to private education from reception to Year 11 of 4% and more to Year 13 More parents have willing to use their declining real terms incomes for their children’s education.




Contrast this with this Assembly’s ESC, which under new leadership Is upfront about the challenges and keen to engage the public for help








And perhaps the only barrier to more leakage is cost Yet although we can say this saves the State money; as a community are we really happy with having effectively such a large %in private education. Is it healthy for the community?
