This is exactly why people are abandoning mainstream media: cheap insults instead of actual reporting You don’t have to agree with @DavidSacks on everything, but pretending he “sucks” while ignoring his actual track record is unserious. A few reminders: -Co-founded PayPal, one of the most consequential fintech platforms in history. -Built Yammer, sold to Microsoft for $1.2B -Backed Airbnb, SpaceX, Facebook, Uber, OpenAI, and Palantir in their early days -Hosts All-In, one of the most influential political podcasts -Major philanthropist and consistent supporter of free speech and open debate If the media wants to rebuild trust, maybe start by covering people honestly instead of writing headlines like YouTubers chasing clicks

I have built the future I'm now running 3 of the most powerful AI models in the world on my desk, completely privately, for just the cost of power. 3rd 512gb Mac Studio is in (Apple reached out and lent me the third one! Thanks Apple!) Here are the models I'll be running: • Kimi K2.5 (600gb across all 3 studios via EXO labs) • MiniMax 2.5 (120gb on one studio) • Qwen 3.5 (220gb on one studio) • GOT OSS 120B Heretic (60b on one studio- completely uncensored 😈) 3 ultra powerful models coding, writing, researching, reading your posts, 24 hours a day. 7 days a week. Nonstop. Running across 4 OpenClaws on 3 Mac Studios and a Mac Mini A few use cases I have set up: • Kimi K2.5 reading feature requests for Creator Buddy and building out the feature requests autonomously. My own personal product manager • MiniMax 2.5 reading Reddit all day, looking for challenges to solve. Then building prototypes for me to review every morning. All autonomously. Qwen 3.5 hitting the X API every hour to see top trending posts in AI and vibe coding. Turning those into video scripts for me to review hourly (this has already built me one script with over 100k views on YT) Unlimited economic power just sitting there. No cloud APIs. No crazy API bills. No tech executives reading my logs. Totally customizable and private. This is the future. I'm just showing it to you before it arrives

girl sitting next to me at a coffee shop had her laptop open saw she was in a gumroad dashboard. couldn't help myself. "you sell stuff online?" "yeah templates" she looked maybe 20. hoodie. airpods. nothing special. "how's that going" "pretty good" "like a side hustle thing?" "i mean it pays my rent" "how much you making if you don't mind" "last month was like $19K" i actually laughed. thought she was joking. "from templates?" "yeah. canva templates for real estate agents." "real estate agents?" "they need social media content but don't know how to make it. i made 50 templates they can edit. charge $47." "and that makes $19K?" "i have three packs now. different styles. they buy one then come back for the others." "how'd you even find this" "my mom's a realtor. she asked me to make her some posts. her realtor friends saw them. they all wanted them. figured i'd just sell it." "how many followers you got" "like 1,900" "you make $19K with 1,900 followers?" "i don't sell on twitter. i post in realtor facebook groups. there's like 200 of them. i just share free tips and mention my templates." "you're in 200 facebook groups?" "took a weekend to join them all. now i just copy paste the same post in 10 groups a day. takes 20 minutes." "that's the whole strategy?" "that's the whole strategy." she went back to her laptop. i sat there doing math in my head. this girl found where realtors already hang out. made exactly what they need. posts in groups they're already in. no algorithm. no viral content. no "building an audience." just showing up where buyers exist with something they want. i've been trying to crack twitter for 14 months she skipped the whole game and went straight to revenue the buyers already exist somewhere you don't need to attract them you need to find them

@Ace_Previews @BenRothenberg It’s so noticeable isn’t it? Sure “opening week” and the extra day is good for the coffers but will TA respond to the criticism?

@BenRothenberg The biggest issue is main courts only having two matches instead of three (yet costing more) - it leads to a massive number of people spilling out to the outside when the main courts are done by 3-4pm. It’s helping prevent late finishes, but it’s slaughtering the fan experience.

Overcrowding is a serious issue if you are attending this Australian Open as a tennis fan who wants to watch tennis. Long, unmoving queues to get into so many courts, even ones without star players of any note. (Waited 15 minutes for Tien-Shevchenko and gave up).

@crmpicco @BenRothenberg Long time AO attendee here. Yesterday was a shitshow. I got to Kia Arena by 11 and waited for an hour and then didn’t move. Gone are the days of being able to get a ground pass and see several courts. Really feels like it’s jumped the shark - even since last year. This was 4pm

@ccameronoates @ozdale Feels different since they added 'opening day' on the Sunday. Stretches out the first couple of rounds - more fans, less tennis in the early days. Total bedlam.

@nicksplitter Frustrating - but as a Freo AFL fan and an F1 fan I need this service. The video quality is great but the UX really does need an overhaul, along with a better feature set. I need my F1 multi-cam/onboard features!

How can they justify doing this AGAIN? Increase in cost to the end-user almost every year. What better functionality has been delivered? What improved UX has been built? Where's the added benefit to the customer?

@KelvinJM81 @MarkGottlieb Americans on this platform (usually with a blue tick) making commentary about our security issues is as laughable as it is insulting. Regardless of our politics - I've loved all the Aussies banding together to tell them to fuck right off, while we come together and heal.

@MarkGottlieb It’s terrible how many are saying, “Oh, how can a woman have a job high up or within the police force?” Mostly said by Americans. I have called them out on it as well.

The disgraceful smearing of these brave officers at Bondi beach (almost certainly because they are women) is shameful and it's horrendous that more people in power didn't call it out quicker or have not called it out at all. couriermail.com.au/truecrimeaustr…

Not to be too ‘woke’ but I actually don’t think you should be encouraged to take guns of the bodies of cops who’ve been shot when other police officers are right next to you. In fact I’d go so far as to say the cops should stop you from doing that. Might be a bit woke though.
Saul Sadka@Saul_Sadka

SHOCKING: Bondi survivor Vanessa Miller was separated from her three-year-old daughter and pinned down by gunfire. She told @Erin_Molan that she tried to grab the gun of a critically injured officer to suppress the terrorists, but other officers—rather than returning fire themselves—held her back. “These police officers were hiding behind a car... I tried to grab one of their guns. Another one grabbed me and said 'no.' I hope they are hearing this. You are weak. You could have saved so many more people’s lives. They were just watching this all happen, holding me back.”

@MarkGottlieb Is it just me or is it simply galling to have Americans judging our gun laws & response times? We really don’t want your input from a place we are all looking at and shaking our heads.

The total bullshit about the Bondi shooting is sickening. One incredibly stressed & emotional man’s understandably unreliable description of a ‘20 minute’ police response has become 30 or 40. The truth: 9 minutes from 1st shot to neutralised terrorists. afr.com/politics/feder…

Australia took away its citizens’ guns, but 10 people at Bondi Beach are dead anyway because terrorists don’t care about gun laws. The only thing the Australian government did was make sure its unarmed, law-abiding, citizens are now sitting ducks, unable to defend themselves.

@DavidSacks The corruption and grift is plain for all to see - just because you were unable to demand $1m each for “sponsorship” of a govt summit doesn’t mean you didn’t try it on. You’re a disgrace and running roughshod over humanity in a bid to live your pockets with more obscene wealth.

INSIDE NYT’S HOAX FACTORY Five months ago, five New York Times reporters were dispatched to create a story about my supposed conflicts of interest working as the White House AI & Crypto Czar. Through a series of “fact checks” they revealed their accusations, which we debunked in detail. (Not surprisingly the published article included only bits and pieces of our responses.) Their accusations ranged from a fabricated dinner with a leading tech CEO, to nonexistent promises of access to the President, to baseless claims of influencing defense contracts. Every time we would prove an accusation false, NYT pivoted to the next allegation. This is why the story has dragged on for five months. Today they evidently just threw up their hands and published this nothing burger. Anyone who reads the story carefully can see that they strung together a bunch of anecdotes that don’t support the headline. And of course, that was the whole point. At no point in their constant goalpost-shifting was NYT willing to update the premise of their story to accept that I have no conflicts of interest to uncover. As it became clear that NYT wasn’t interested in writing a fair story, I hired the law firm Clare Locke, which specializes in defamation law. I’m attaching Clare Locke’s letter to NYT so readers have full context on our interactions with NYT’s reporters over the past several months. Once you read the letter, it becomes very clear how NYT willfully mischaracterized or ignored the facts to support their bogus narrative.
