Gen Ai is used a LOT in video games and usually for early concepts.
Capcom has stated using it to give proper artist a direction to follow for the concepts and art in game
It can also be used for beta of games to have quick render in-games.
Now GenAi is not theft if trained properly and ethicaly with public domain art OR artist that willingly give their art to the Ai
more ambiguous if trained with art that has been posted on some website but people didnt read the conditions that state Data is used for Ai training or Data is sold
Its stealing in all other cases :)
