When you look at the big picture, the 100-dollar backstop on $WTI isn't just about gas prices at the pump—it’s the cornerstone of a brutal geopolitical strategy with the goal of controlling Europe, Russia and China. The U.S. is basically running a two-tier energy world. By keeping their own WTI prices capped through market manipulation or backroom deals, they ensure American industry stays lean and competitive, while the rest of the world—especially Europe and China—has to bleed out paying Brent or Oman prices. We're seeing the completed capture and soon the capitulation of the naive Europe. What Europeans don't realize is that their best interest is to have working deals and an "AND" strategy with Russia and USA and China etc. Sanctions of Russia is shooting Europe in the foot, cutting of limbs and burying it alive. How idiotic the europeans are thinking the US are fools. Fact is US are ruthless and have no problem with destroying Europe. It’s all about leverage. By taking out European options like Nord Stream or hitting storage in places like Qatar, the U.S. effectively forces its 'allies' into a state of total energy dependency. You don't need to invade a country if you control its thermostat. This turns Europe into a captive market for expensive American LNG, stripping away their industrial edge and making sure they can’t pivot away from Washington’s lead. China control is the main objective Then you have China. They are the world’s biggest energy sponge. By controlling the 'surplus'—whether that’s through a puppet regime in Venezuela or by keeping a thumb on the scale of global shipping and insurance—the U.S. can essentially tax Chinese growth. If China has to pay 110-120 dollars for oil while the U.S. keeps its internal engine running at 90-100, the economic gap widens every single day. It’s a siege, plain and simple. They’re using oil to decide who’s allowed to have an economy and who isn't. The reality is cold: even if you play by D.C.’s rules, like Europe is doing, you still get bled dry. By cutting off their alternatives and forcing them onto expensive U.S. energy, they’ve turned an 'ally' into a captive customer. It’s not about following rules to succeed – it’s about U.S. dominance, even if it means de-industrializing Europe.
