The uncomfortable truth: Amazon designed Prime as a bundle so massive that no member could possibly use all of it. That's the business model. You pay $139. You use $160 worth. Amazon keeps the other $1,200+ in value locked behind pages you never open. The 4 monthly expiring benefits are the worst part. Games you paid for gone. Books you earned unclaimed. Delivery credits evaporated. Grubhub+ membership lapsed. Amazon doesn't send you a monthly reminder: "Hey, you forgot to claim your free games, your free book, and your $3 shipping credit this month." Because a member who claims everything is a member who costs Amazon more. A member who forgets is pure profit. 200 million Prime members worldwide. The vast majority are subsidizing the benefits of the 5% who know where to look. Stop subsidizing. Start claiming. Set a calendar reminder: 1st of every month. Open Prime Gaming. Pick your First Reads book. Check your Grubhub+ link. Spend your No-Rush credits. 4 minutes. Once a month. The $139 membership starts earning its $1,430.

Amazon Prime costs $139/year. Most members use 2 features: free shipping and Prime Video. That's a $139 subscription doing the job of a $5.99 delivery fee. J.P. Morgan estimates the actual value of Prime benefits at approximately $1,430/year more than 10x the membership cost. But most of that value sits unclaimed behind tabs, menus, and pages 200 million members have never opened. And 4 of those benefits expire monthly. If you don't claim them by the end of the month, they're gone. Amazon resets the clock. You paid for them. You lost them. Amazon is counting on you not knowing. Here are the 12 Prime benefits most members have never activated including the 4 that vanish every 30 days 🧵

Something I realized when I became a parent is there's a window of time when your parents are healthy, your kids are little, and everyone gets to experience multiple generations of family spending time together. Cherish this time and don’t take a single moment of it for granted.

@TateTheTalisman The guy was blown up in the drone facility. Trump and the current US administration is covering it up because they do not want to enter a war with Russia over him.

Lindsay Graham was 71. I will not be participating in conspiracy theory discussion, he wasn’t moving any needle that much on any front that somebody would “take him out” as opposed to other people. My dad dropped dead at 57. 71 is a good age he had a good run. This happens.

The darkest most malicious cover-up in U.S Senate history is happening right now ~ Benny Johnson McConnell couldn't complete a sentence while speaking on the Senate floor in (Jan) But we're supposed to believe he had (20) min calls with several people while in (ICU) His neighbors said he looked dead, when they were wheeling him into that ambulance This is serious folks... someone was seen coming out of his house with Congressional tags on his car, but covered his face... what was he doing there I'm calling on @FBIDirectorKash Patel to look into this... National Security could be at risk

Lindsey Graham came from humble beginnings and became one of the most powerful lawmakers in the most powerful nation on Earth. His story was a fundamentally American one. Early in my Senate tenure, I remember getting into a shouting match with Lindsey about a Ukraine funding bill at lunch and then learning the very next day that he was pushing rail legislation I really cared about behind the scenes. That was Lindsey Graham. He fought like hell for the things he believed in, and he was just as willing to go to bat for you when it counted. Lindsey had the best sense of humor in the Senate. He loved the game of politics. He was constantly asking which races were up and down, and how he could help. As he liked to say, “I don't care if you're an isolationist or a religious fanatic, so long as you have an R next to your name, I want you to win.” We certainly had our disagreements. But I couldn't help but like him. A one of a kind figure in our politics. I'll be praying for him and his family.

Did Senator Lindsey Graham finally get a taste of war that he so easily sent our sons and daughters into? 🚨 Just Yesterday, Lindsey Graham Toured Ukrainian Drone Factory SKYFALL in Kyiv just as Russia launched Strikes against Two Drone Manufacturing Sites in the Region Senator Lindsey Graham traveled to Ukraine, met with President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, and toured the SkyFall drone production facility near Kyiv. Graham publicly praised the site as one of the most advanced in the world and called for stronger U.S.-Ukraine cooperation on drone technology. Overnight into July 11, supposedly as he was leaving, Russia launched a major missile and drone attack on the Kyiv region. The Russian Ministry of Defense confirmed strikes on two large drone manufacturing facilities in the Kyiv region, plus an oil depot in nearby Pereyaslav. While Russia confirmed hits on drone factories, it remains unconfirmed right now whether the exact SkyFall facility Graham visited was one of the targets struck. It was reported that Lindsey Graham was leaving Ukraine around the same exact time of the strikes. Overnight, it was announced that Lindsey Graham had passed from a “brief and sudden illness.” Was Lindsey Graham somewhere he was not supposed to be?

🚨🚨🚨Permanent DST or permanent standard time? Two bills are now in play. The House is voting next week on the Sunshine Protection Act — this locks us into permanent daylight saving time year-round. A new bipartisan bill just introduced (Sunshine for Our Kids Act) would instead make permanent standard time the default, ending the twice-yearly clock changes while still giving states flexibility. As I’ve said before: permanent DST is essentially the same as moving everyone to the western edge of their time zone. Morning sunlight arrives later on the clock. Multiple studies show higher rates of cancer and other health issues the farther west you live within a time zone — largely because morning light is far more important for setting our circadian rhythms than evening light. Sleep medicine experts strongly prefer permanent standard time for this reason. It better aligns our clocks with biology, especially for kids, mood, and overall health. We finally have a real choice. Which direction makes more sense to you? #DaylightSavingTime #CircadianHealth

Hollywood has declared war on Homer... and the film isn't even out yet. Christopher Nolan's The Odyssey doesn't hit cinemas until 17 July, but it's already at the centre of a global backlash. Critics have slammed the casting, questioned the use of modern dialogue, and asked why one of history's greatest Greek epics features virtually no Greek or Mediterranean actors in leading roles. Nolan says the contemporary dialogue was deliberate, aiming for emotional impact over historical authenticity. Lupita Nyong'o added fuel to the fire by saying she'd challenge Homer over the way women are portrayed in the epic. To supporters, it's simply another creative interpretation of a timeless classic. To critics, it's yet another example of Hollywood rewriting Western civilisation's greatest stories to satisfy modern ideological trends rather than respecting the original work. For nearly 2,800 years, The Odyssey has inspired generations without needing to be "fixed." Has Hollywood gone too far, or is this exactly what great stories are meant to do—evolve with every generation? © Reddit #archaeohistories

Apple just sued OpenAI, and the wildest part is how they got caught: one candidate screenshotted confidential Apple files on his Apple work laptop hours before his OpenAI interview. Apple reads its own server logs. The recruiting pipeline generated its own evidence trail. The complaint says OpenAI's hardware chief Tang Tan, a 24-year Apple veteran, directed candidates still employed at Apple to bring "actual parts" (batteries, logic boards) to interviews for show and tell sessions. One candidate was surprised, saying he didn't even know you could take those out of the office. Apple also alleges Tan circulated an internal Apple offboarding document to coach new hires on dodging exit security checks, and that a departing engineer kept his Apple laptop, found a bug that still gave him access to Apple's cloud storage, and downloaded dozens of confidential hardware files after joining OpenAI. Then the supplier: OpenAI allegedly got one of Apple's manufacturing partners to demonstrate a proprietary metal finishing technique by letting the partner believe Apple had approved it. Over 400 former Apple employees now work at OpenAI. Apple says it flagged all of this to OpenAI in February and never got a response. Five months later, it filed. The ask reveals the strategy. Apple wants an injunction barring OpenAI from using the secrets, the return of every file, and full discovery into io, right as OpenAI preps its first device launch and an IPO. If a judge grants it, OpenAI may have to prove the device was built clean, component by component, before it ships. The device was supposed to run on the world's best hardware talent. Now its bill of materials is evidence.
