Never forget...this was how people were treated for not wearing a mask at Costco. He even had a medical exemption. Society turned on each other because the media & politicians told them to.

The expectation is set by the marketing of the game. If your marketing team is going to run their mouths and claim the game is "revolutionary" and has "NPCs that behave like real people and have real lives and jobs", etc, I better not find a railroad worker wailing on the same spike day and night. If you keep your marketing team from acting like fools, its not a big deal at all. In this case, I think the developers overdelivered. Which is not a bad thing.
