@WeVennStudios The menus, UI, UX. In VR you just grab and touch everything. In flat, every interaction needs the right button and it has to feel obvious instantly. Game is already fully playable in non-VR, we’re in closed beta playtest on Steam polishing exactly that 🕹️

@bmfshow The whole gaming industry is in a bad shape. Sadly it is affecting VR even more. Are there any “AAA” games coming soon? Or at least in the next 2 years?

One of the biggest problems with the AI debate. A developer says they didn't use generative AI, yet some people still label their game as "AI slop" with zero evidence. False accusations can seriously hurt a developer's reputation. Do you think that's fair? #indiedev #gamedev

@CactusVRStudios @GAMERTAGVR Exactly! You could even get some marketing, exposure, word of mouth and get actual buyers thanks to people who pirate the game. Also if they liked it they can buy it to support the dev. There are no damages. People who get games for free would not pay if free was not an option…

@GAMERTAGVR Damage is relative imho. Someone who won't buy/pirates games wouldn't buy your game just because it's uncracked. That's personal experience tho.

Extra Dimensional is a high quality indie vr game. They have re-invested improving the game and put it sale hoping this will move the needle on Steam. Today they found out their game is being massively pirated despite being only $30. The art director told me ‘If we had sold half as many pirated copies, we would already be working on our next two games’.

@GAMERTAGVR Piracy has always existed. As a VR dev, I also see far more new players in my database than actual purchases. But pirates aren’t lost customers: no piracy doesn’t mean they’d pay, it means they’d never play the game.

@metroman30 @ItalesVr Hello! The game is in early access on Meta Quest and in a closed beta playtest on Steam. We would love to release the game for PSVR2, but there are many goals to reach before that. Now the focus is to make the game playable without VR (on PC with a mouse and keyboard).
